82695/E8 COMPREHENSIVE MAINT/REPAIR TO LIFT, FIREFIGHTING, FIRE ALARM SERVICES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN THANJAVUR.

M&L for Comprehensive Maintenance (PLATINUM SERVICE), Repairs and Periodical Servicing including stand by duty on the days of VIP visits (not more than 60 days in 11 months period) of eclectically operated lift of make Johnson Elevators (01 No.) of 844 Kgs capacity for 13 passengers (machine No. L-H4646) with 6 landings (Ground + 5 floors) with selective/collective control variable voltage, variable frequency drive automatic / manual dual controlled operation with / without attendant along with intercom system including emergency rescue device at station store ,Main Bldg. of SRE, AF Stn Thanjavur through OEM/ their Authorised agency including necessary periodical safety checking and testing of lifts as mentioned in relevant code of practice / IE rule for the safe and efficient performance with all consumables viz grease, lubricant oil, cotton waste, small pieces of cable lugs, spares / accessories which ever be required for smooth functioning / trouble free services to the users for 24 hours including Sunday/holidays and submit the maintenance report for smooth functioning of lifts.

(vi) The OEM or OEM authorised dealer along with Engineer in charge/ JE should inspect the lift for routine/periodical checking of lift under item 1 on monthly basis and submit the inspection report signed by OEM, contractor, user rep & Engineer in charge before claiming the RAR. (vii) As per inspection report the minor spares parts if any required to be replaced shall be replaced whenever found necessary for smooth functioning of lifts and cost of replacement is deemed to be include in quoted rate (viii)Customer Care Contact Number of the repair / rescue agency is to be displayed at each lift. The firm should attend defects / breakdown calls of all lifts round the clock and repair rescue action to be initiated immediately with out delay. Record for the same is also to be maintained and updated telephonically to the Engineer in Charge. (x) Well trained, Certified Technicians are to be employed at site for Lift Maintenance. The technicians employed by the firm should have thorough knowledge of all types / makes / models of lifts. Prior approval in this regard is to be obtained from accepting officer. (xi)The technician should ensure the serviceability of the Lifts for every odd situation. The contractor should ensure full safety and functionability of the assets being maintained by him. Any casualty or injury sustained by the technician during the currency of contact at the defence premises shall be sole liability of the contractor. No claim on this account shall be entertained by the Department.

(xii)All Tools & Plants or Transport required for carrying out Comprehensive Maintenance and necessary stationary & documents (log books, test records etc.) for maintaining the records at each lift installation will be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra will be admissible on this account. (xiii)The rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be included for cleaning of the Lift Machineries, Lift Panels, Lift Rooms, Lift Car Cabin, Lift Well, Lift Shaft etc. for keeping the lift installation neat and tidy in all the manners. (xv) Contractor needs to carryout bimonthly (15 days), monthly, quarterly and half yearly and annual tests as specified in Particular Specification of this CA and submit report in triplicate as per format attached. The Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included for all the tests stipulated and as directed by Inspecting Agency. During the currency of contract, one load test on each lift, other than required during lift breakdowns, is to be carried out and result to be submitted to the department. Load & other equipment required for the tests shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.
