Disconnection , dismantling & shifting of AC & DC UPS panels: (a) Scope of the contractor involves disconnection of incomer and outgoing cables (As per specs item No 5) of UPS panels , dismantling of AC UPS panel of 2700mmx800mmx1900mm ,wieght 1500kgs into three sections, removing transformers from DC UPS panel of 1900mmx700mmx1800mm ,weight 2000kgs, shifting of each section of panel and transformers from the first floor of the building to new UPS room on ground floor at 100mts distance. (b) Scope of work also involves shifting of another set of AC UPS of 2000mmx800mmx1900mm ,wieght 1500kgs and DC UPS panel of 1200mmx800mmx1900mm ,wieght 1000kgs from stores located at around 800mts distance. Cable connection and termination works included in this item will be measured separately. Job has to be done as per the specs, BOQ, and as per the site conditions under the instructions of Engineer in charge only.

Disconnection & Shifting of AC & DC UPS back up battery banks: Scope of the contractor involves disconnection of incomer cables (As per specs item No 5) for back up battery banks for AC and DC UPS panels i.e 110 cells of 125AH approx 2.5ton weight for AC UPS and 24 cells of 400AH approx 1.5ton weight for DC UPS and disconnecting the battery links of both battery banks and separating each cell. After separating, all the batteries and battery bank stands have to be shifted from the first floor of the building to new battery room on ground floor at 100mts distance. Cable connection and termination works included in this item will be measured separately. Job has to be done as per the specs, BOQ, and as per the site conditions under the instructions of Engineer in charge only

Erection,Reassembling of AC & DC UPS Panels and battery banks (Refer item No-1 and item no-2 for details): Scope of the contractor involves erection of AC & DC UPS panels in the new UPS room and reassembling the three AC UPS panel sections, transformers in the DC UPS panel and interconnection of batteries of corresponding battery banks on battery stands.Job has to be done as per the specs, BOQ, and as per the site conditions under the instructions of Engineer in charge only.

Disconnection, Shifting and Erection of 4 Nos of DB Panels : Scope of the contractor involves disconnection of incoming and outgoing cables to 4 no of DBs and shifting the DBs from the first floor of the building to new UPS room on ground floor at 100mts distance and erecting the DBs.MS structural fabrication required, cable connection and termination works included in this item will be measured separately. Job has to be done as per the specs, BOQ, and as per the site conditions under the instructions of Engineer in charge only

LT Cable Laying : The scope of the contractor involves cable laying of following sizes; 3cx120 sq.mm copper-70mts, 4cx16 sq.mm Aluminium-105mts, 2cx240sq.mm copper-734mts, 2cx16 sq.mm copper-35mts, 3cx70sq.mm copper-314mts, 3.5cx120sq.mm-130mts

LT Cable termination : The contractor shall supply all the materials necessary for the jointing i.e. Dowells/HMI compression type cable glands and lugs.All cable terminations shall be carried out by Dowells /HEX make solder less crimping terminal lugs. The terminal lugs shall be made of electrolytic copper for copper to copper, aluminum to aluminum. The crimping tool to be used should be provided with double ring compression type dies. Terminations shall be made in neat manner by men specialized in this class of work. Gland be separately earthed with connection from main earth bus, PVC sleeves, ferrules, metallic identification tags on either end of feeders shall be employed. Miscellaneous works:Erection of 300mmx75mm size of perforated GI cable trays of approx 70mts,fabrication and installation of supports using MS channel/angle / flat/ MS rod hangers ( 30x30x5 mm) etc. Cable trays and MS angles will be provided by department as Free issue material.
