Repairs to alternator of 25 kva DG set by way of decoupling of damaged 3-phase alternator from the engine assembly at site. Shifting the decoupled alternator from site to the workshop in a private load carrier to be arranged by the firm. At workshop the alternator shall be dismantled by way of opening all nuts, cover plates etc. and the damaged/burnt out windings shall be extracted from all slots by special tools & tackles, skilled manpower. After extraction of the windings from the stator the same shall be rewound by using insulated Cu-Wire of proper gauge and specifications and as per actual pitch and turns, the job includes insulation of the windings by proper insulating material, tape etc. and assembling back of rotor, stator, cover plates, all nuts and bolts of the motor. The repaired alternator shall be shifted back to site from workshop in a private load carrier to be arrnaged by the firm and at site the alternator shall be recoupled with the engine. all power connections shall be reconnected with the alternator. The job further includes testing of alternator at full load. Note: The old copper shall be retained by the firm.
