Annual repair and maintenance of 88.00 meter span Chatti bridge and 55.00 mtr. Brow bridge over Satluj River

Removing old plant from steel and other metal surfaces & making the surface even with paint remover of approved brand and manufacture and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Including cost of all labour, tools & plants, equipment, scaffolding, carriage of materials and all incidental charge.

Applying priming coat over new steel & other metal surface after & including preparing the surface by thoroughly cleaning oil grease dirt and other foreign matter and scoured with wire brushes fine steel wool scrapers and sand paper complete with ready mixed priming paint brushing red lead, red oxide/zinc oxide chrome and direction of Engineer-in charge, including cost of all labour, tooles & plants, equipment, scaffolding, carriage of materials and all incidental charge.

Painting two coats (exculding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surface under coat with ready mixed paint brushing to give an even shade inlcuding cleaning the surface all dirt, dust and other foreign matter. With readymixed paint other than white and direction of Engineer-in-charge including cost of all labour, tooles & plants, equipment, scaffolding, carriage of materials and all incidental charge.

Providing and executing electrix are welding on steel members including thorugh surface preparation by removing rust, scale, oil, paint etc. by wire brushing/grinding proper edge preparation, alignment and positioning of members, and carrying out welding with approved quality electrodes conforming to relevant IS codes, maintaing required temperature and welding sequence, including chipping of slag, grinding and finishing of welds to obtain smooth and uniform surface, complete in all respects as per HPPWD specifications, IRC provision and direction of Engineer-in-charge including cost of all labour, tooles & plants, equipment, scaffolding, carriage of materials and all incidental charge.

Providing and fixing 50mm wide retroreflective tape (round/strip type) of approved make and colour on bridge parapets, railings or crash barriers including cleaning of surface from dust dirt, grease and losse material cutting to required size, proper alignment and fixing with suitable adhesive, ensuring firm bonding and visibility, complete in all respects as per HPPWD specifications, IRC:67 and direction of Engineer-in-charge including cost of all labour, tooles & plants, equipment, scaffolding, carriage of materials and all incidental charge.
