M&L for greasing and easing of rolling shutter of size not exc 13 Sqm alongwith the guide channel, helical spring, anchoring rod and all other as to work the shutter in easy way complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge
M&L for greasing/oiling and easing of steel door with channel moving wheels as to work with easy movement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge
Taking down existing steel rolling shutters size not excedding 3.20 x 4.00 m with all connecting items and repairs/ replace the lath of steel rolling shutters and locking arrangements, greasing, tightening of helical wire spring including welding wherever required, oiling, etc complete and make in serviceable condition and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including preparation of old painted surfaces and refixing in the same opening complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTES :- (i) Lath of steel rolling shutters, lock plate with locking arrangement shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Spring will be included in the rate of item (iii) supply only unserviceable items shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.
Taking down existing steel rolling shutters of size not excedding 3.20 m x 4.00 m complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge
S&F 1 mm thick Steel rolling shutters, without ball bearing, as specified including top cover, anchrong rod, hasp and staple, lock plate of length not less than 2.20 m and not more than 4.00 m and width not less than 0.15 m and not more than 0.20 m of riveted construction made out of mild steel sheet 3.15 mm thick ,reinforced with mild steel angle 35 x 35 x 5 mm size at bottom and locking arrangement with two 50 mm bow handles and flat iron 25 x 3 mm to fix the lath and lock plate, guide channel made out of 2.00 mm thick MS sheet size 75 x 30 mm including taking down the existing guide channel from rollingshutter and fixing with wall / column etc and making good with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 and cement work (1:3) and one shop coat of primer; erected in position as indicated and specified in SSR Part-I, complete; push pull or manual type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge

S & F Safety lever locks mild steel with 4 levers for rolling shutters complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge

S&F factory made steel window or ventilator with top hung shutter including hinges, steel peg stay, handle complete incl shop coat of zinc coat primer.Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.Note:-Steel window/ventilators shall confirm with IS-1038-1983 (Note:- (a) Steel windows /ventilator shall be of sizes to suit the size of opening at site and as ordered/directed by GE. (b) Steel windows /ventilator shall be factory made and shall be procured from one of the manufacturers as per Appendix ‘D’. (c) Steel windows/ventilator shall be conforming to IS-1038 and all as specified in these tender documents and MES Schedule Part-I. (d). The lugs of the steel windows/ventilator shall be fixed in P.C.C. blocks made of PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate. Size of PCC blocks shall be 23cm x 10 cm x 15 cm. (e) Cost of providing all the above aspects including the cost of lugs & P.C.C. blocks shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted for above item. Cost of making good the jambs to match with the adjoining surfaces shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for taking down items.
