Earthwork in excavation for "Well" in all type of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, gravel, morrum, pebbles and all types of conglomarates, laterite rock soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, fissured rock, weathered rock, shattered rock, decomposed rock and all such other materials as described under appendix to these specification either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. excluding blasting in all conditions such as dry moist, saturated submered, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out water, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal stumps and other deleterious matters, dressing of side and bottoms and back filling the exavated earths to the extent required and disposing the remaining excavated soil/rock as directed by Engineer-in-charge for all leads and in all lifts as specified and directed etc. complete.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: (a)All works upto plinth level

In retaining walls , return walls(any thk) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc, upto floor five level.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and basement.

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for : Foundations, Footings, Bases for columns

Vertical surfaces such as retaing walls, return walls, Partitions, walls (any thickness) including attached Pilasters, Buttresses, Plinth and string courses, Fillets and the like

Columns, Piers, Pillars, Abutments, Posts and struts (square rectangle polygon in plan)

Sides and Soffits of beams, Beam Haunchings, Cantilever, Girders, Bressumers and Lintels plinth beams not exceeding 1m in depth
