Crash Barrier - Providing & Fixing a 'W' metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated steel metal beam rail, 70cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5mm spaced 2m centre to centre,1.8m high,1.1m below ground/road level, allsteel parts and fitment to be galvanised by hot dip process,all fittings to conform toIS:1367&IS:1364,metal beam rail to be fixed onthe vertical post with (C.C.1:2:4) & Spacer Channel Section 150x75x5mm, 330mm long complete as per clause 810. Retro-reflectorised Traffic sign as per IRC-67-2012 Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67-2012 made of high intensity grade sheeting type-IV vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. The Retro reflective sheeting shall be tested for a certificate fo having the sheeting tested for coefficient of retro reflection, daytime colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, liner remova, adhesion, impact resistance, specular floss adn fungus resistance, 3 years outdoor weathering and its having passed these tests shall be obtained from International / Government Laboratory/Institute by the manufacturer of the sheeting and in case the certificate is obtained from international condition, it should be obtained from Indian conditon within 3 years of launching of product by the manufacture in abroad, Alternatively, a certificate conforming to ASTM specification (D 4956-09) on artificial accelerated weathering requirements from a reputed laboratory in India can be accepted provisionally. In such a situation, the Employer/Client, if so dedires, could seek for a performance guarentee which be released after receipt of certificate meeting the requirement of three years outdoor weathering of the sheeting as per IRC 67-2012. Legends, letters, numerals and borders etc should be as per MoRTH specification No-801.3.7. Proof of the same in form of government report shall be uploaded while quoting tender.
