Supply and Commissioning of Mahindra Scorpio S11 2WD Multi-Utility Vehicle (MUV) for use as a Follow-Me Vehicle

SCOPE AND SPECIFICATION FOR SUPPLY OF MAHINDRA SCORPIO S11 FOLLOW ME VEHICLE Tenderer : Spec / Remark: Tenderer are required to respond with distinctive answers to each specification line item, unless explicitly instructed to provide specific data. Failure to answer correctly, or failure to respond, may deem your tender as non-responsive. All line items with a “NO” response and requires deviation, shall be explained in detail with supporting documents. The declaration stated here will be regarded as legally obligatory for the tender evaluation

1 Conditions/Specification

The scope of the project is to Supply and Commissioning of Multi Utility Vehicle as Follow Me vehicle at BIAL under the specifications as follows:

1.1 Provide services required for successful commissioning and performance testing of the Multi Utility Vehicle as Follow Me vehicle at BIAL as well as training to services, labor as required for this purpose shall be under the scope of Bidder.

1.2 Deliver and supply any additional material, parts & services which are not specifically mentioned here, but are required to make the Multi Utility Vehicle as Follow Me vehicle complete in every respect in accordance with the technical specification for safe, trouble free and efficient operation and guaranteed performance, shall be deemed to be included within the scope of this specification.

1.3 Warranty for a period of two years.

1.4 The Manufacturer / manufacturer shall complete all formalities for delivering and commissioning of the Multi Utility Vehicle as Follow Me vehicle at BIAL, which includes the transit, insurance, RTO registration etc. The Manufacturer should submit all the original documents at the time of successful commissioning.

M Vehicle color :Chrome Yellow as per the color code details mentioned below Chrome Yellow Color tints: Color specified in Table A-1 as per the Commission International de l'Eclairage (CIE) L*a*b* system of color specification. O Dual Battery System

All the additional electrical accessories, as per Scope 3, has to be powered by a separate battery which in turn is charged by the vehicle alternator. System must use a secondary battery in addition to a vehicle’s starter battery.

· The secondary battery is used as a power source to auxiliary gear and lighting accessories and should meet the power requirements.

· The secondary battery has to be placed at a proper ventilated space in the vehicle. The battery and the gases expelled during charging should not come in contact with the occupants inside the vehicle.

· Dual Battery System make recommendation system by TJM or REDARC

· Secondary Battery type- AGM / Lithium-ion battery

· The system should be able to support the continuous power requirement during

· prolonged night operation with a minimum load as mentioned.

· All accessories wiring kit, harness and fuses required should be part of standard package and should withstand the electric load.

· Electrical Load calculation should be done and adequate safety measures to be provided with installation of fuses, relays and correct gauge of the wiring.

· Wiring diagram for the Dual Battery system & Accessories to be provided.

3 REGISTRATION :

· All formalities for registering the vehicle at Bengaluru- Devanahalli ARTO, which

· includes the registration fee, insurance premium and Annual Road tax etc.

· In documents like RC & insurance Multi Utility Vehicle should be specified in

· Road tax for 15 years to be paid & receipt of same to be provided.

· Speed Governor as per RTO norms.

· RC should be inlined with vehicle modification like additional lights, dual battery system. vehicle color & stickering etc.

· HSRP to be provided.

· The Manufacturer should submit all the original documents at the time of successful commissioning.

· The supplier should furnish all the above costs in the quotes.

a) The tender should submit detailed technical write-up about the offered chassis, all technical data / parameters wrt BIAL scope of Work in the XL sheet and PDF

b) Details of various components/accessories of the system shall be furnished along with catalogues / leaflets etc.

c) The tenderer should also submit a list of deviations, if any, of the offered system than specified in the tender document.

d) In case the offered system has advantages or superior points than specified in the technical document, the tenderer can list out such advantages. BIAL will be the final authority to consider or reject such deviations.

The successful tenderer should supply 01 set of operation and maintenance manuals in English language.

a. The tenderer should send his technical person at his own cost to Bangalore International Airport Ltd. to train operational staff in the operation, do’s & don’ts of the vehicle

b. The tenderer shall also train at least 03 persons of the purchaser to carry out routine maintenance and running repairs of the Repairs of the Equipment.

c. The entire training cost shall be included in the proposal.

7 PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE TEST

Pre- Delivery inspection Visit to be arranged by the Manufacturer to two technical staff members of BIAL -V&E team before dispatch of the vehicle from the Factory/Dealer. Dispatch of the vehicle to BIAL will be on approval of onsite inspection. The performance tests shall be conducted before accepting the equipment. These shall be carried out at the tender’s works. All materials required for such tests shall be provided by the manufacturer till acceptance. The up and down travel cost for the inspecting official shall be met by the purchaser whereas the accommodation and local transportation. shall be met by the Manufacturer
