Disconnecting incoming and outgoing cable/busbar connections, taking out from the cradle and overhauling of manually/electrically operated, draw out type air circuit breaker of any make, 03 or 04 pole, 415 volts, AC, current rating 800 A all as specified under: - Make : C &S (a) Cleaning of dust, spider web, foreign particles etc. (b) Removal of old grease from various parts. (c) Cleaning of various parts with CRC-2-26. (d) Check the tightness of all hardware. (e) Replacement of damaged parts shall be measured & paid seperately as supply only. (f) Re-greasing and lubricating of all rotating, moving parts. (g) Checking, setting and fault attending of spring charging mechanism operation. (h) Checking, setting and fault attending of closing and tripping mechanism operation. (j) Checking, setting and fault attending of breaker auxiliary switch contact healthiness. (k) Checking of breaker operation in isolating / test and service position. (l) Confirming of Insulation resistance value of each live part w.r.t earth.

The contractor has to submit detail service report for each breaker over-hauled. 2. All the necessary tools and tackles shall be arranged by contractor for the subject work. 3. The contractor shall replace minor spares like spring washers, washers locking pin, circlip, spring, small nut-bolts etc. free of cost. 4. Contractor shall to arrange for necessary cleaning agent (petrol, diesel, CRC 2-26 etc.) and lubricating material like grease, oil and lubricating sprays if any, as required for subject work. 5. The servicing / overhauling of breaker is to be carried out at site. However, if any breaker requires to be taken to contractor’s work-shop, then contractor shall to arrange transportation of such breakers from site to Work-shop and back to site without extra cost. 6. Major spares required to be replace during servicing will be measured and paid under relevant item as specified in the schedule hereforth. 7. Load break test should done in front of Engineer-in-Charge. 8. All required load bank should be carried by Contactor without extra cost. 9. Servicing work done with prior permission of Engineer-in-Charge as breaker installed inside the hospital. 10. All working executive must performed technical qualification and necessary exprience of work.

Note : (i) Cost of labour, painting of panel, cotton waste insulator and thimbles and T&P required for upkeeping/maint work is deemed to be included under unit rate quoted. (ii) MCCBs, Bus bars, indicator lamps, Ammeter, Volt meter, shall be measured & paid separately as supply only.
