REPAIR TO ROOF WATER PROOFING TREATMENT, LEAKAGE/ SEEPAGE, SHAFT REPAIR, PARAPET WALL/CHAJJAS, PLINTH PROTECTION AND ALLIED B/R SERVICES AT MD ACCN BANA SINGH ENCLAVE, 180 ORS MAHIPALPUR AND OTM ACCN (35 INF BD, 18 MADRAS, 5/11 GR) UNDER AGE BR-II O

Amount

Cutting of vegetable plant (girth not exceeding 300mm) from roof, terrace, chajjas etc digging out the roots and making good the surface in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 with surfaces finished to match complete including scaffolding etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of brick tiles (laid flat or on edge) on roof surface.laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leeping upto two storey bldg including necessary scaffolding arrangement complete (whether full thickness removed or only a part there of) and removing rubbish from cantonment area or as directed complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting out craks to V-section in existing roof or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Priming roof surfaces and applying water proofing treatment over roofs comprising of the following complete all as specified & as directed:-

(a) Applying oil bound bituminous primer at the rate of 0.30 Ltrs/Sqm as per IS 3384-1986 on prepared surfaces. Surface shall be kept free till the moment, the primer is impregnated and the solvent oil in primer is evaporated.

(b) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm of grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73 (Grade S-35).

(c) Laying 3mm thick APP polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt, (weight not less than 160 gm/Sqm) with a thermo fusible finish, torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surface.

(e) Make of APP : "Moply FP" manufactured by STP Texsa Ltd or Hyper Plas (Polyester) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or "Shaliplas"ter) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and Chemical Pvt Ltd or Makpolyplast manufactured by M/S M K Patro as approved by GE.

Note:- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectiveness of water proofing treatment, 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work, or in lieu contractor may deposit bank FDR for the said amount for 10 years which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-0, using 12.5mm gradded aggregate to maintain slope as in roof padding alongwith liquid water proffing compound.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick, machine pressed, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, and cut and polished laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed (Over accessible roof only).

M&L for preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of aluminium paint on top of roof surfaces complete all as specified and as directed (Over non-accessible roof only).

Dismantling of floor of WC with WC seat & taken out the cinder from sunken portion of WC,taking down of cement plaster of any thickness & description of wall & floor. Provide 25mmdia GI pipe spout projecting at least 150mm beyond outer face of wall. 15mm thick plaster 1:4CM with WPC both on floor& wall. Then apply Epoxy Resin Coating polymer (water proofing coating for sunken portion) both on floor as well on wall.Sunken portion filled with graded cinder &laid 50mm thick floor in PCC 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone agg.) floor area not exc. 3.50 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non-skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for joint free glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 450x300x7mm thick over 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 as in backing set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in floors of any description and in any postion complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforcement cement concrete of any discription and in any position, including cutting of reinforcement from adjoining RCC component to faciliate demolition complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for including cutting of reinforcement to facilitate demolition (Parapet wall) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete type 1:2:4 using (20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in fins, fascias, louvres, parapets, and railings, newels, balustrade, and the like complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F TMT bars 10 mm dia & over as in reinforcement of columns, beams, RCC, slabs, chajjas, lintels etc cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally hoping for columns, hooking ends and welding the new reinforcement with old steel bars complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 8mm dia TMT bars, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hoping for columns, chajjas to parapets etc hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire not less than 0.90mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quions, pillars, ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast articles etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6mtr mean radius built in cement mortor 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with fly ash bricks strainght or curved on plan to any radius in half thick in CM 1:4 brick wall built in cement mortor complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 15 mm bore GI tubes, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors or in concealed etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
