REPAIRS TO INTERNAL ROAD, BERM, FOOTPATH AND ROAD SIDE FURNITURE UNDER AGE B/R SEWRI

M&L for repairs to potholes any depth n.exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or waterscouring sunken surfaces in road path etc then laying of patchmate material into the pothole and then compacting the layer using power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity (vibratory system as low & high) all as specified and directed.

M & L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm and n exc 100mm depth & removing the waste material out of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by EIC

Laying and compacting 150 mm thick with mechanical paver (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade II as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required applying with filler/interlocking material as stone dust. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed by EIC. Note :- Gradation with all tests of aggregates for GSB Grade II to be obtained through Govt. approved lab/Engineering college/National test house/ NABL approved lab prior to the execution of work and cost of sample, handling, transportation and actual testing charges will be borne by the contractor directly

M&L for preparing of surfaces of granular sub base (GSB) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over granular sub base (GSB) etc complete all as specified and directed.(Make : HINCOL, IOCL or equivalent)

M & L as in repair for premix bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness averaging 50mm to 75mm, with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based paver, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller (low & high vibratory system) etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements. (i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved lab/Engineering college/National test house/ NABL approved lab prior to the execution of work and the same shall be got approved from GE before providing BM.(ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.46.5 per Kg.

M & L Bituminous premixed semi dense ashphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and tandemvibrating roller (low & high vibratory system) etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements. (i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved lab/Engineering college/National test house/ NABL approved lab prior to the execution of work and the same shall be got approved from GE before providing BM.(ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.46.5 per Kg.

M&L for preparing surfaces of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc including M& L for applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over existing black top surface etc complete all as specified and directed.(Make : HINCOL, IOCL or equivalent )

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashed, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as sprcified and directed.
