Repairs to 105.5 TR chiller air conditioning plant - II installed in plant room of Govt. Medical College& Hospital, Jammu by way of dismantling the expansion valve from the plant and then providing/fitting of new expansion valve in place of damaged valve. The job includes leak detection test by way of filling nitrogen gas in the system at a pressure of 1.5 times the operating pressure. The leak is detected by smearing soap solution over joints and pipes and observing for bubble formation, then identifying the leak points and repairing the same with the help of copper brazing. This pressure testing is repeated until there are no more leaks. The system is to be vacuumed before charging of refrigerant for removing air and moisture from the system. Then the compressor is to be charged with 140Kg (approx.) of R-134 a refrigerant. The job also involves providing and fitting of new drier core – 2nos. Testing of the chiller air conditioning plant on full load. Complete job in all respects including cost of material, skilled labour and all handling charges, taxes etc.
