REPAIR RESURFACING OF ROAD AT CERTAIN PLACES OF RANGE ROAD, SAFETY ROAD AND ROAD FROM KHASIA SQUARE TO PARAPOKHARI SQUARE AT ITR CHANDIPURUNDER AGE BR II

NOTE (Applicable for all items) :- The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum / amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates.

Scarifying or picking graveled or bituminous macadam surface in area n.exc 400 Sqm and depth n.exc 100mm removing material and stacking complete all as specified.

Water bound macadam, 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) with broken stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) (Granite, Trap or Basalt) spread rolled with 8 to 10 ton power roller and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth,making good by filling in screened & graded road metal , watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes form removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg/10 Sqm

Preparation of Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes form removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg/10 Sqm

M&L Premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 4% paving bitumen (VG-30) by weight of total mix shall be hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver.

M&L applying evenly a priming / tack coat on bituminous macadam surfaces with bitumen primer @ 3Kg / 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying 40mm thick (Consolidated thickness) bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix, shall be hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by 8-12 ton vibrating (Tendom) roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg /10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous mecadam, well rammed and sealed with binder(paving bitumen) 9.8 kg per/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed mecadam, binder and chipping), depth of pot holes exceeding 30 mm .

M&L Thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5 mm thick (lines, dashes, arrows letters, etc. on wall, pavements and the like) with road safety spikeries glass beads 8% including preparation of new or previously treated road surface by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree centigrade complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

S&F in repair Aluminium composite panel sheet of approved colour of 3 mm thick with skin thickness of 0.25mm of aluminium on both sides, sand witched by 2.5mm polythelene core with PVDF coating of 30 micron fixed over stainless steel post or frame as in sign boards with necessary fixing arrangements in approved pattern complete all as specified and as directed. (Make: Alstrong/Alcobond/Alstone) Note : SS frame work will be measured and paid separately

Material & Labour for providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing /frame work made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (where ever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size
