Material and labour for Weather proof coating to external wall surfaces with Rain coat with the following specifications :-

(a)The external wall surfaces shall be prepared and made free from all dust, loose particles, laitance and sharp edges, fungus, algae, organic matters, etc. including removal of debris outside of MOD premises (b)All wide shrinkage cracks shall be cut open and Dr. Fixit crack X paste (for cracks upto 5mm)/ Dr. Fixit crack shrink free paste (for cracks upto 10mm) shall be filled in the cracks and finished. (c)All masonry wall & RCC column separation/ masonry wall & RCC beam separation shall be filled with polymer modified mortar admixed with Dr. Fixit URP at the ratio of 1:3 with polymer dosage of 12-20%.

(d)Over the prepared surfaces one primer coat of Dr. Fixit Prime seal acrylic water based penetrating primer shall be applied as a bonding coat. (e)Over the primered surfaces water proof coating shall be applied with two coats of Dr. Fixit Rain Coat to form weather proof and decorative coating with 80-100 micron thick and 100% elongation properties. NOTE: Water proofing chemicals shall be procured from approved manufacturer with prior written approval of GE. Full quantity of fresh chemicals required for incorporating in the work shall be brought to site with sealed containers. Water proofing treatment shall be carried out through authorised applicator of the manufacturer and the contractor shall produce necessary certificate of authentication to the Engineer-in-charge before commence of the work.

Material and labour for Providing roof treatment with APP modified water proofing membrane with the following specifications :-

(a) Removing existing roof/ chajjas treatment of any type like plastic felt/ HP tiles of any description including taking down existing plastering/ concrete of any thickness and cleaning the top surface of RCC slab with wire brush including removal of debris to a distance exc 50m but n exc 100m

(b) Brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm on cleaned RCC slab surfaces and rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound and finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

(c) Preparation of plastered surfaces by removing dust, dirt & applying oil bound bituminous primer at 0.3 litre per Sqm and Provide APP modified water proofing membrane 4mm thick and weight not less than 4.5kg/Sqm reinforced with non oven polyester mat weight not less than 160gms per Sqm including min 10cm side/over lap and applying a coat of blown hot bitumen grade 85/25 over membrane at the rate of 1.2kg per Sqm and on drying apply a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint at 0.1kg/sqm.

NOTE: APP modified water proofing membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified in PS and shall conform to specifications given IS 16540-2017/ IS 16532-2017. Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate from the manufacturer and submit to the Engineer-in-charge before incorporation in the work. Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work.

Repairs to loose hanging mild steel windows /ventilator shutters not exceeding 1Sqm each incl repairs to hardware required by welding for smooth functioning of the shutters incl making good the welded surface to match with the existing window /ventilator surface all as specified and as directed Notes:- (i) Windows to be repaired upto 02 storey bldg ht.
