No T-6495/ alteration -1 and7000 mm OR Switche [Curved] complete & as per specification No. IRS/T-10-2025 for fabricated switch and IRS:T-29 (Revised-2024) for cast manganese steel crossing complete with relevant specifications for all parts as listed in the subassembly drawings but excluding standard Fishplate, Fish Bolts, Elastic Rail Clips and Insulating Liners

Material should be supplied as per railway requirement.

1.The Purchaser reserves the right to place an order for either the entire quantity or the bulk quantity (minimum 80% of the net procurable quantity) on approved vendors, as eligible in condition mention in UVAM sub item ID Criteria in tender condition as on the date of tender closing, in terms of Clause 3.3 of Section II of the Central Railway Bid Document (updated January 2024). 2.Developmental vendors as eligible in condition mention in UVAM sub item ID Criteria in tender condition as on the date of tender closing may be considered for developmental orders up to 20% of the net procurable quantity. 3.Developmental vendors shall be eligible for consideration only if they hold unconditional approval status in U-VAM as on the date of tender closing. Developmental Vendors reflected in the RDSO Vendor Directory with conditional approval/General Remarks (e.g., field trials, prototype approval, limited or temporary approval etc.) shall not be eligible for order placement. 4.The status of the vendor (i.e. approved or developmental vendor) shall be reckoned as available in U-VAM on the date of tender closing date and not thereafter. However, cases of downgrading/removal/suspension/banning etc., after closing date of tender, shall be taken into account while considering the offers. Note: If the works address indicated in an offer is different from what is indicated in the approval certificate issued by the respective vendor approving agency or appearing in Vendor Directory reflected on U-VAM, then such offer will be treated as if the same has been received from an unapproved source. RDSO letter No. QAC/Vendor/Policy dated 17.09.2021 shall be applicable.

UVAM Sub Item ID Criteria: : UVAM Sub Item ID Criteria: The tenderer must be borne on RDSO's approved list for supply of either CMS Xing (as per UVAM Sub item id 3100048003) or Fabricated Curved Switches (as per UVAM item id 3100045) or both.In case the firm has RDSO approval for one item i.e. CMS Xing or Fabricated Curve Switch, they will have to submit undertaking in the format given below for supply of other item from RDSO approved source i.e. Fabricated Curved Switch or CMS Crossing respectively for which the tendering firm is not approved by RDS. The offer of the tenderer who does not submit the undertaking with their offer shall not be considered. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained after closing of tender. (a) In case the firm has RDSO approval for CMS Xing: They will furnish undertaking to arrange supply of fabricated Curved Switch from RDSO approved source in the following format: "I/We here by undertake to arrange supply of Switches from the approved source of RDSO within the stipulated delivery period. I/We also undertake to arrange the required inspection facility as per specification at the premises of the Switch Manufacturing Factory. In this context, the consent letter from firm borne on RDSO approved list for manufacture of Switches is attached for your ready reference." In case where firm has failed to supply material within DP, General Damages equal to 5% of the PO/Contract value will be applicable in cases where performance guarantee is not applicable and not submitted by firm. In cases where a firm has submitted a performance guarantee, then the same will be forfeited.
