Demolition of brick work/ block masonry or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles and removal all rubbish material complete all as specified directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n. exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth for foundations, laying water supply pipe lines etc and getting out all excavated materials including forming bottom surface to required level/gradient for removing the old pipeline and for laying of water tubing complete all as specified and as directed .

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus material (Soils) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in motor foundation, supports for pipe lines etc filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry 1:3:6 Type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick masonry/ concrete surface in CM (1:4), finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections including cleaning serviceable pipe internally/externally for re-use and removing unserviceable pipe from site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for following bore pipes:- (Note :-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Taking out old unserviceable sluice valve and Supply, install, connecting and testing of sluice valve, class PN- 1.6 double flanged with CI body, wheel and brass spindle and nuts etc, non rising type IS-14846-2000 marked including jointing materials i.e. rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed complete of following sizes:-

80 mm bore.

100 mm bore.

150 mm bore.

Taking out old unserviceable one pair (02 Nos) of GI flanges of 80mm bore GI Piles and supply, install, connecting and testing of one pair (02 Nos) new flange duly threaded and holed including leather/rubber gasket, MS bolts, nuts, washer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable one pair (02 Nos) of GI flanges of 100mm bore GI Piles and supply, install, connecting and testing of one pair (02 Nos) new flange duly threaded and holed including leather/rubber gasket, MS bolts, nuts, washer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable one pair (02 Nos) of GI flanges of 150mm bore GI Piles and supply, install, connecting and testing of one pair (02 Nos) new flange duly threaded and holed including leather/rubber gasket, MS bolts, nuts, washer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for dismantling damaged/unserviceable structural steel/mild steel parts/components of ladder, security gates, working platform of Over Head Pressed Steel tanks and replacement of structural rolled mild steel for joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, Pressed Steel/Mild steel sheets for top covers confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) of thicknees as required of suitable size as directed including welding, drilling cutting and provision of suitable nut bolts etc and preparation new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, width or girth and applying two coats of anti-corrosive synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality over and including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dismantling & taking down carefully old unsv pressed steel tanks plate each of size 1.22mtrX1.22mtrX6mm from overhead tank (height minimum 10-12 mtr from ground level) and M & L for fixing of new plate of pressed steel tank confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) of thicknees as required of suitable size as directed including welding, drilling cutting and provision of suitable nut bolts etc and preparation new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, width or girth and applying two coats of anti-corrosive synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality over and including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of existing unserviceable valve pit and Construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber 900x900x900mm (internal dimension) with bricks, old size, built in CM 1:4, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 as in foundation concrete bed/ floor, coping and 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on internal and exposed external surfaces, external plaster shall be upto 15 cm below ground level and mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement with and including MS cover 03 mm thick MS sheet welded with 40x40x6 mm size angle iron frame fixed to top of valve pit by means of hold fast 150mm long, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, with locking arrangements including excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, painting sheet surfaces with two coats of anti corrsive paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as shown on drawings, specified and directed. Note : (i) Drg No AF/TD/240/15 Sheet 1/2 and 2/2. (ii) Valve pit shall be Type 'A' but size shall be as mentioned above.
