NAME OF WORK Miscellaneous Civil & PH work for making vacant flat ready for occupation under TTM-IV Maintenance unit at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.

1 Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work with prior permission of Engineer-in-charge/authorised representative, to acquaint themselves with the nature and location of work before quoting tender. Tenderers shall visit the site of work, at their own cost. The request email for site visit may be sent well in advance (preferably three working days before) for preparation of visitor pass, fixing suitable & mutually agreed date & time for site visit. The email ID for site visit is mentioned in tender documents.
2 The work is to be carried out in vacant flats of occupied buildings, hence the work shall be carried out with least disturbance to the residents.
3 All safety & security regulations shall be followed strictly as per specifications & conditions of contract.
4 The Job card for each flat shall be issued on weekly basis, Work shall be completed in all respects in maximum of 30 Days. If agency fails to complete the work in stipulated time frame, a penal recovery of Rs. 1500 per flat per day shall be levied. Decision of Engineer-In-Charge shall be final and binding to agency.
5 The agency shall have to commence the work and execute an average of Seven flats per week, subject to availability of flats.
6 The contractor shall provide sleeveless Jackets to the workers in required pattern, colour showing name of contractor with address and telephone number as approved by the Engineer in charge. All the workers must wear the same while on duty.
7 Contractor shall take contractor’s all risk insurance policy in respect of entire scope of work for entire period of contract and submit copy of the same before commencement of the work. "If there is a gap in CAR insurance policy period a panalty of 1.5 times of the premium amount of original policy value shall be recovered , proportionately for the gap period."
8 Security measures to be followed by the contractor : i) Contractor should provide uniform to all regular labour and fluorescent visi wears to all casual labour deputed at site for proper identification. ii) The contractor should issue I-Card to all workers deployed on regular basis and list of such workers vetted by site Engineer should be submitted to DCSEM Security at Main Gate. iii) The supervisor of contractor having photo pass shall bring daily wages workers/ casual workers inside premises for work subject to following conditions. (i) He should prepare list of such workers in duplicate. The original copy would be handed over to DCSEM security at Main Gate and obtain endorsement on duplicate copy and the duplicate copy would remain with the contractor. (ii) Departmental staff deputed to supervise the work has to verify the reporting of such workers at site. iv) You shall follow all safety rules & security procedure that are in vogue and applicable during execution of work. You are requested to verify the character and antecedents of the labourers employed by you, through local address proof issued by competent authorities such as ration card, driving license, electricity bills, telephone bill, gas connection document etc. The nationality of contract labourers also needs due verification. v) You are requested to obtain immediately Police Verification Reports of your regular staff deployed at site(s) in respect of maintenance contract works and submit the same along with necessary application to allow them to enter in premises to carry out the assigned work.
9 i) No debris shall be left over around the building during the renovation works. An area for 'Debris bins' will be identified close to his site office or inside Anushaktinagar colony at the location identified by EIC on the request of contractor for collection of debris generated on day to day basis. The Debris from debris bin shall be cleared every month. The contractor must maintain adequate number of wheel borrows all the time for shifting the debris to Debris bin. If the debris lies around the building for more than 2 days, penalty @ Rs. 500/- per day per flat shall be levied w.e.f. 3rd day onwards. ii) The debris generated shall be disposed by mechanical transport to the nearest dumping pit inside Anushaktinagar colony as directed by EIC with all leads, loading, unloading etc. complete. No payment shall be released unless certificate from EIC showing clearance of debris is produced in each RA bill and Final bill.
10 Penal recovery shall be made at the rate of Rs. 1500/- per flat per day, if water taps / bib cocks, flushes etc. are left open. In case of any further material loss due to this negligence in other flats, same will have to be borne by contractor.
11 Wherever material are replaced with new one, quoted rate includes removing existing one and depositing the serviceable material at departmental store and disposing off debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at the location identified by EIC
12 The cement sand mortar use shall be factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix 'of M/ s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/sWalplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s UltratechCement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties,mechnical mixing with water in a metallic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer.

214 Labour charges only for carefully removing of all type of chokages as & when required at various floor levels from kitchen sink, wash basins, bathrooms, water closets, gully trap chambers, internal inspection chambers & drain pipes in service shafts of residential & non- residential building viz low rise building having Ground + 1 & upto Ground + 4 upper floors incluinding cleaning existing ACC & waste soil pipes stone ware pipe lead/ CP brass 'P' trap and bottal traps etc. of the above sanitary fixtures by the rodding or other suitable means like mechanical choke remover machine with KIWI Drainage chemicals hand pumps and all other cost for incidential charges to complete the job, whenever found necessary including throroughly removing the dirt, seware sludge and miscellaneous rubbish in and around the inspection gully trap chambers & disposing at the same away from building within a lead of 150 m or to the nearest disposal ground including washing the floor aeras in service shafts with phenyl water all inclusive of labour ,tools, phenyl etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Note:- 1) The contractor shall make his own arrangement for opeining & closing of plugs of cleaning eyes for waste soil pipes, lead trap etc. at his own cost. 2) The chokages complaints shall be attend proparly by the contractor by arranging sufficient number of labour commensurate with the magnitude of work involved. 215 Providing & fixing on Exposed or concealed surfaces the following dia Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (C-PVC) pipe of specified class of M/s. SUREME/ PRINCE or other approved equivalent consisting following items of work:- i) Supplying & fixing C-PVC pipes including necessary all fittings conforming to IS 15778. ii) Laying and fixing the pipe and specials on exposed surfaces to correct line, level and plumb for water supply line, overflow and vent using M.S. nails/ screws, rawl plugs, wooden gutties and branded clamps of Supreme/Prince make to the pipeline as per the site requirement. iii) Testing the pipe line to a hydraulic pressure as per manufacturers cataglouge for leak proof joint or as per relevant code. iv) Making leak proof threaded/ solvent joints. including cutting the pipe, Joint preparartion, cleaning, marking, application of solvent, assembling, curing etc. and the cost of jointing cement solvent materials. v) Cutting or making hole or chases in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja, dado etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition. proof joints. vi) Providing and fixing C-PVC jointable/ threaded fittings such as Union, Nipples, Bendes, Elbows, Tees, Reducers, End caps, Couplers, Adaptors, Saddles, Plugs, Tank connectors, Expansion loops, Bypass bends, etc. vii) Including removing existing GI pipe line with fittings and specials etc. Note:- All brass threaded elbows and fittings shall be with additional support type of M/s. Prine, Supreme or other equivalent approved by Engineer- in- Charge including necessary fixing arrangement such as screws, plug etc. complete. (Mode measurement:- The measurement shall per Unit RM length of pipe line laid or fixed. The measurement shall be taken along centre line of pipe.
