Excavating in trenches , n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits ,manhole pier hole etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any kind of soil Note : Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty @ Rs 500/- will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final, conclusive and binding.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground LT cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor ,wall etc including bricks ,GI pipes and removing from work site of unserviceable material all as specified and directed. (Excavation/earth work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule)

Supply and laying fly ash best quality, laid in trenches, perpandicular to U/G cable for cable protection complete all as specified.

Laying only old bricks obtained from item No 02 perpandicular to U/G cable for cable protection complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, of soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed .

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50M and deposited/ spreaded where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed .

M & L for Boring of horizontal hole under road, pavement, hardstanding suitable for passing through up to 80 mm bore, complete all as specified. Note : (i) One run of boring of horizontal hole will be measured as one unit length. (ii) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (iii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 100 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

(Note:- Earth work, PCC work, shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L for cement concrete ( 1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in pole foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified

M & L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections includings nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts, in any shape of size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed

M & L Painting of steel pole (swan neck type or straight type) up to 12 mtr height with cross arms, clamp of any length and shape for LT overhead line/ for street light with two coat of aluminium paint after scraching out old paint, cleaning and exiting surface rust free, preparation of the existing surface, including marking pole numbers in a 15 cm dia yellow circle with number writting with black syenthic paint/ Stricker, including painting strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black syenthatic paint & two strips of Yellow/ Sky blue paint (as per existing pattern through out the circumference of pole, including removing extra wall papdi ,peel off wall papdi by sand paper and making good with putty as per existing thickness and applying one coat of white washing on PCC copping of pole and re-numbering of pole with approved size of letter ( Example - P- 001) with synthetic enamel paint of white colour background and black colour lettering complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, upto 7.5m length, earth strip protected by and including 40 mm dia GI pipe (light grade) and connected to main test point or body of pole/pannel or lightening arrester of main controlling switch as directed including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 , Precast RCC (1:2:4) Type B1 cover slab of size 54x54x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 10 mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI Pipe (Medium Grade) for watering, Charcoal and salt in alternate layers of 15 cm (Compacted Thickness) around the earth electrode including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I. NOTE : 1. The unit rare includes for protectionh GI pipe of 40mm and watering pipe of 20mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to acheive desired result as the soil resisitivity is very high. 3. The cost of GI strip of 32x6mm including protection pipe, from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above/below ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate. 4. All the joints in GI strip and connectgion with earth plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5.Costing of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate

M&L for preparation of existing surface of LT Panel by srapping down peeled off old paint, cleaning etc of size upto 900mm X 400mm X 900mm (L X W X H) and applying Two coat of Siemens Grey Paint by using spray machine and Black paint on Angle Iron over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note:- Only external portion shall be painted.

M&L for preparation of existing surface of LT Panel by srapping down peeled off old paint, cleaning etc of size upto 1000mm X 400mm X 1000mm (L X W X H) and applying Two coat of Siemens Grey Paint by using spray machine and Black paint on Angle Iron over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note:- Only external portion shall be painted.

S & F in replacement Aluminium Busbars electrolytic grade of as per site required Amps and KA rating, bus bars and Interconnecting links shall be insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeve with RYB & black colour coding. The bus bars shall be supported on unbreakable, non-hygroscopic SMC insulated supports at sufficiently close intervals to prevent busbars sag and shall be housed in a dedicated compartment. the size and thickness of busbars shall be as per sample including drilling , cutting and suitable size of galvanised or codmium plated high tensile nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or battens or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other situation using 32 x 6mm GI stripcomplete.

Dismantling existing LT panels of any type, any size carefully for reuse including necessary excavation demolition of concrete,disconnecting of earthing,cable, taking out burn out lugs,MCCBs,bus bars,insulators and other connected works ,surface levelling etc. and reinstall the LT panels after repair/replacement of burn out lugs,MCCBs,bus bars,insulators, wiring etc including re-connection of earthing,cables with new foundation of panels, brick works,PCC works etc complete including testing all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.(NOTE : Earth Work,brick works, foundation work, PCC, lugs, switch gear, metering devices, bus bar,insulators, cable for wiring etc will be Measured and Paid separately under relevant Items as supply only).

Labour only for disconnecting, isolating and taking out burned/unserviceable lugs, switchgear, metering devices, wiring, bus bar etc from any type of pannel/board and replacing the same with new ones including testing completee al as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note (i): New parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only. (ii). The item will not be operated simultaniously alongwith the item No 43.00

Repair / Maint and overhauling of ACB of capacity 630Amp/800Amp/ 1000 Amp from existing position after disconecting the LT conections, open the outer cover,racking out , checking out spring charge motor, triping and closing coil, overhauling the complete unit by cleaning with suitable cleaning materials and replacement of minor spares ,internal electrical wiring and electronic accessories and insulated properly complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
