Cutting Bushes any type and area covered with thick bushes and removing roots and making good the disurbed surface by filling along the sides of Runway shoulders by Mechanically using JCB and One chain Saw Tree Cutting Machine including Operators and two Un-skilled labours along with Fuel, lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for,Eight Hours per Day includin removing of bushes, roots, loose items to a distance exceeding 250m bu not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of users. (b) One JCB and one chain saw, Tree cutting Machine including Operators and Two Un-skilled labours for Eight Hours per Day shall be treated as One Job. (c) Proper care shall be taken while removing th roots etc.ato avoid and damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be including the same. (d) The works is required to be executed along Main/Seconday Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours eithef during Day or Night without causing and ditrubance for flying. (e) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (f) Proper safety arrangement equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. (g) The rate quted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Maintenance of airfield shoulders by deploying Tractor with suitable capacity jungle jim with tractor operator and two Helpers for cutting of grass and one helper for sweeping grass after cutting of grass bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Runway shoulders and airfield areas including supply of fuel,lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for smooth operation of equipment deployed including maintenance of tractor, jungle jim, insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note : (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of user. (b) 01 Nos of Jungle jim shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. (c) An area of 10000 Sq Metres shall be treated as one Job for measurement and payment purpose irrespective of the plant, Machinery and Manpower employed for each job. (d) The work is required to be exelcuted along main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any distrubance for flying. (e) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (f) Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. (g) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Periodic Supply of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of Make Honda or equivalent with Machine operator and one Helper for Cutting and sweeping grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area. Taxi, Track, Runway, shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the year, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required includin maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees includin removing of debris to car distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of user. (b) One No of Hand held Grass cutting Machine shall be mad available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. (c) An area of 1000 Square Metres shall be treated as one job for masurement and payment purpose irrespective of the plant, machinery and mapower emplyed for each job. (d) The work is required to be exelcuted along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any distrubance for flying. (e) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (f) Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. Removing old layers of paints by scrapping with metal wire brush and suitalbe tools and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower and applying one coat of 40 micron dry film thickness of Apcotrak is of Asian or berger or equavalent road marking paint, water based matt finished as per IS-164 of white, Golden yellow, deep orange, red and black in lines, dashes arrows, circle trangle etc, on concrete or, biyumen surfaces/ payements and the like exceeding 10cm in width with mechanical pavement marking machine Graco line lazer v 5900 HP automatic series with two Guns or equivalent or higher capable to work. (Airless spray applications as per IS-164/RM-164) ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Rates for supply of material are included in the item.

M&L for prepartion of new or untreated surfaces, including preparation of surface by cleaning, sweeping and then using eletric blower and applying one coat or more coats of 40 micron dry film thickness each coat of apcotrak of Asian or Berger or equavalent road marking paint, water based matt finished as per IS-164 of white, Golden yellow, deep orange, Red and Black in lines, dashes arrows, circle trangle etc, on concrete or, bitumen surfaces/ pavments and the like exceeding 10cm in wdth h mechanical pavementt marking machine Graco line lazer v5900 with two guns or equivalent or higher capable to work. M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of concrete/ bituminous pavements and roads by cleaning with metal wire brushes, brooms and finally dusting with a piece of cloth/ rags and applying one coat of white wash on surfaces exc 10 cm complete all as specified and directed.. M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces by scrapping with metal wire brush and suitable tools and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower and applying one two of synthetic enamel paint of any tint as in line, dashes letter etc on concrete or bitumen surfaces/ pavements and the like excessding 10 cm in width with white/black/red/yellow/orange or any other approved tinf etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Rates for supply of maerial are included in the item.

Scraping of grass shurbs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc manually at ground level including removal of small irregularities in natural ground stacking of spoil into heaps and removal of spoil exc 250mtrs and and not exc 500mtrs and deposting wheredirected by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Measurement for scrapping of grass shall be measured only one time upto period of completion required scraping of grass during the period of completion No payment shall be made and separated which is already included in quoted rate.

Excavation over area not exceeding 1.5mtr deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge

( c) Rate in respect of services to be provided by vide note deemed to be included in quoted rate of contractor in the BOQ. Nothing extra will be admissible ion this account.

Rolling and consolidation of soling by vibratory roller complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing excavated material exc 250 m but n.exc 500 m and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundation or over sub base including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 400 micron transparent High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) film sheet Grade I conforming to IS-10889 over sand layer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided wherever required. The rate quoted shall be deemed to included for the laps. (ii) Clear area only shall be considered for payment purpose and nothing extra shall be allowed for laps.

Dismantling carefully Cracked Rigid surface of concrete patches by using machanical cutter like diamond cutter of average depth 15mm, sweeping, cleaning with compressed air, removal of all loose particles up to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m and filling with a Mix of Epoxy resin and epoxy hardener compound in 2:1 ratio mixed thorughly with quaitz sand [3kg/Mix] [Total mix of epoxy resin and epoxy hardener compound in 2:1 ratio mixed top surface complete all as per manuacturer's instructions and as directed. M&L for preparation of eroded top surfaces of concrete slabs with wire / coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by using air blower compressors to remove all loose dirt, dust, scaling, grease, spots etc, priming the surfaces with suitable epoxy primer of same make as that of Sealing Compund (with suitable brushes ) and Applying Epoxy repair mortar on primed surfaces with thickness varrying from 2.00mm to 3.00 mm including filling of small holes up to 10 mm depth @ 5.0kg per sqm and levelling the surfaces to match the existing level with existing surfaces of the runway / Taxi track as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and directed. M&L for repairs to concrete pavements by cutting the damaged, spoiled edges in concrete pavements slabs to vertical rectangular cross section with power driven concrete cutters, removing all loose and foreign materials to outside of contonement area, cleaning surface thoroughly with wire/coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by electric air blower compressors, including priming the surfaces with suitable primer and filling with epoxy mortar @ 2 Kg per 1000 Cu.cm including form work wherever required all as specified and as directed. Note:- Contractor shall produce original purchase vouchers and test certificate of entire quantity before commencement of work on ground.complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge and as manufacturer instructions. Removing the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod in Construction/Dummy joints by raking end using blow lamp and cleaning of Construction/Dummy joints of concrete pavement free from dust applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant, provision of polyethylene backup rod 8 to 10 mm dia in construction/dummy joint and sealed with COLPOR 200 polyurethane based sealing compound confirming to BS 5212 1990 o & BS -4254 and EN-141875-2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete for construction / dummy joint 6mm to 8mm wide all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairing the PQC surface where aggregates are exposed by following stages:- (i) Preparing the surface by steel wire brushes/mechanically grinding the surface to remove all loose materials, mud etc.and cleaing the surface by using machanical air blower before aplying primer. (ii) Apply Flex O Patch Special Primer RDL 942 from Choksey or any other equilant make, over the cleaned surface (iii) Apply the elastomeric concrete minimum depth 3 to 5 mm (Flex O Patch manufacured by Choksey or any other equialent make) within 30 minutes of after applying primer and mix proportion as per manufacures instructions. Note: The works to be carried out as per manufacures instructions and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks old size, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 Metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick / concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified. Note:- The demolished material should be disposed off out side the MOD land. The contractor shall quote his rates considering this aspect.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick cement mortar (1:4) on brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only stone aggregate (granite, trap or basalt ) of size range between 40mm - 20mm and deposited in technical and domestic area at place as directed by GE complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Measurement of material shall be taken from the bottomless boxes, measuring boxes or in closed packed stacks on level ground, no attempt at loose stacking will be permitted. (ii) For obtaining size 40mm-20mm the whole material shall be screened at site before stacking of material and over and under sized aggrgeates shall be removed from site by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible in to this account . (iii) The Labour and T&P required for Stacking, levelling of material shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost nothing extra shall be admissible on this account .

Cleaning of drains by removing silt, taking out brick bats, pebbles, muds, clay sludge etc from the bottom of drain and culvert bed and removing to a distance not exc 50 m and deposited where directed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for old size of sub class B bricks laid flat jointed in cement mortar (1:6), as in drain, and pointed in cement mortar (1:3) after dismantling of bricks laid flat in floors, channels, kerbs, apron etc(each layer) pointed in any mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismatling existing DTGM board (Distance to go marker boards use runway in which numerical refltive tape) of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 50mm bore PVC pipe of Low dendisty polyethene (LDPE) pipe of pressure rating 6Kgf/Sqcm as in DTGM board fixed with suitable screws and make it functional etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F micro prismatic type retro reflective boards confirming to Type-XI of ASTM D-4956 and IRC-67-2010, made of 3mm thick PVC shetting. The front side is to be covered with micro prismatic polycarbonate retro reflective sheeting confirming to Type XI of ASTM incl writing letters / figures of size suitable for DTGM board and all as per AF authority etc complete all as spcified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete un reinforced of Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as spcified and as directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each n.exc 0.50Cum getting out returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surface. complete all as spcified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in post filling, bed plate and bed block to hold fast concrete.complete all as spcified and as directed.

Making circular hole of dia 200mm and depth 50mm into M-40 concrete, cut to shape using concrete cutter by DCH 300 or HILTI DD 200 machine (water cooled) making holes 2 Nos of dia 24mm and depth 200mm using TE 70 combi hammer, grouting the holes with HILTI HY 150 injection chemical for 2 holes (Approx 100ml per hole) & fixing of 20mm dia round bar and filling up the circular portion of 200mm dia after grouting the re-bar using solid grout with high flow non-shrink cementious grout "conbextra" after applying a bonding coat using 'Nito Bond EP' as per manufacture's instructions etc complete (Mooring Ring all as specified and as shown on drawings.

M&L for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 25 to 30 mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 250 metre but n.exc 500 m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc, priming the pot holes / patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified elastomeric concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Choksey Chemical (Product Name "Flex O Patch") or equivalent of make Fosroc Chemicals/ STP Limited

All as per item No 46 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 30 mm deep but n.exc 35 mm deep.

M&L for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 20 to 25 mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 500 metre but n.exc 1000 m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc, priming the pot holes / patches with epoxy primer and filling with high strength epoxy concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
