M&L for cleaning/ clearing of sewage line (including manholes) 150 mm to 300 mm dia main line from 1st manhole onwards of any description, underground at any depth, removing any type of blockage including desludging, descaling & decoking of drain as well as manholes with combined high pressure water jetting cum suction (vacuum) type machine mounted on LCV/HCV /LMV/HMV and having facilities of high pressure vacuum and provn of hydraulic through high pressure thermo plastic fiber based water jetting hose and conical round shape nozzle pipe and flushing after cleaning including removing the same out side MD land and deposit where the place marked by the local municipality, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of blockage from nahani traps of bath/kitchen in ground floor and upper floors by taking out mud/sand incl taking out lid and re-fixing the same, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 2 above but cleaning of blockage from Gully trap to 1st manholes in ground floors.

Attending day to day complaints of different type of sewage work such as removing blockage of WCs, floor traps, Nahani traps, Gully traps, CI/PVC pipes all types top to bottom including junction etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 01 to 04 :-The unit quoted rate is deemed to be included for the following :-

(a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground by digging out of roots shall be made good carefully by filling up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled complete.

(b) Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGE in service centre B&R daily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returned to concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job.

(c) Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materials of Sewage line of 100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, in between manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc.

(d) The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. In case of delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied to the contractor @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(e) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Cleaning of manholes any size and not exc 1.5m depth including lifting, remmoving sludge, water and cleaning with water including cutting grass, vegetation and bushes to a width of 60cm all alround manholes, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 11 herein before but depth of manholes exc 1.5m. Note : the sludge obtained while cleaning shall be removed from the site to outside of MOD land. The rates quoted for items shall include the above aspect also.

Punchuring of SGSW pipe of 150mm dia for clearing blockages and sealing with piece of pipe and concreting around the pipe in PCC(1:3:6) type C- 1 using 20mm graded aggregate and make the area hygenic including necessary excavation and earth work, complete all as specified and as directed..

All as per item No 13 herein before but dia of pipe 200mm and above. Note :- for item No 13 & 14 : Rate quoted deemed to include necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling etc complete.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m deep along the existing sewage line carefully for placing taking out SGSW pipe and getting out in hard dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no 15 above but depth exc 1.5m and not exc 3.0m, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L salt glazed stone ware drain pipes of internal dia 150 mm bore grade 'A' laid in trenches and jointed incl demolition and breaking up drain pipe (salt glazed stoneware drain pipe) set in cement concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 17 above but for 200 mm dia incl demolition and breaking up of drain pipe (salt glazed stoneware drain pipe) set in cement concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for concrete bed to drain pipe including packing under and hunching against the sides of drain pipe after they are laid and tested in PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 for 150mm dia pipe, complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

All as per item No. 19 above but for 200 mm dia pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains 150 mm bore, making good to pipe and rendering cutting out existing banching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded aggregate and surfaces smooth finished and reforming benching as reuired, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning and filling in soil in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus material (siols) to a distance not exc 50 m and deposited where directred at a level not exc 1.50 m above starting point , complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron/RCC/PVC drain pipes jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches or walls of any bore including fittings & S & F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls/trenches for bore of pipe 75 mm with PVC clamps and saddles including taking down existing pipes, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron/RCC/PVC drain pipes jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches or walls of any bore including fittings & S & F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls/trenches for bore of pipe 110 mm with PVC clamps and saddles including taking down existing pipes, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs PVC (SWR) bends of any radius with access door bore of pipe 75 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 60 :- The unit rate is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth at sides of drain of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around 1 m from drain (both sides) and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Taking out/pumping contaminated sewage water sludge from septic tank/soakage well/ incl inlet/outlet chamber after pluging incoming sewage line using suction (vacuum) type machine mounted on LMV/HMV and facility of high pressure vaccum and removing and dumping off the same in tank to a place out side contonment at the place marked for the purpose by local municipality or the authority controling the area as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- Contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractor and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at any later stage by the dept.

Dismantling the existing unserviceable gully trap including chamber and material and labour for provision of new salt glazed stoneware gully trap, square or round mouth type "P" of size 180X150mm, including setting and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 in chamber with plain cement concrete base in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, brick work in cement mortar 1:4, rendering in cement mortar 1:4, all around finished even and fair using extra cement, Precast cover slab in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforcement with 8 mm dia in both ways etc, including provision of handle etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Note for item No 64 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specifications. M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing existing unserviceable tar felt of any type and any description from roof slab alongwith screed bed, cleaning of surface & removing the debries to a distance exc 250m from the stating point, complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick (average) thickness in cement mortar (1:4) on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Roof treatment for in-accessible roof as under: - (i) Preparation of surfaces by removing all dust, loose particles of RCC slab. (ii) Apply polyurethane waterproofing coating on prepared concrete surface of roof slab & up to 300 mm of parapets and crumple joint including junction of roof and parapet. This stage shall be passed by the GE. Roof surface shall be left without any further treatment. (iii) Method: Cleaning the surface and applying FOSROC Nitoproof 725 (minimum 0.8 mm dft) over a priming coat of Nitoproof WB primer or equivalent product of Asian paints, M/s MC Bauchemic / CIPY / SIKA / Pidilite Dr Fixit / Thermax / STP applied as per manufacturer’s instructions. (iv) The work shall be carried out complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and application methodology. Execution to be done with authorised trained / skilled applicator of manufacturer as per technical guidance laid by manufacturer. Company guarantee to be given by contractor after completion of water proofing work before payment.

M & L for Cement concrete 25mm thick type B-1, 1:2:4 using (12.50 mm graded aggregate) as in level coures for slab surfaces finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- An amount of Rs 30800.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
