Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 'Silent' type Diesel Generating Set, 4 Cylinders, 4 Stroke cycle, water Cooled Engine as per CPCB-II norms alongwith having Prime Power Rating of 62.5 kVA/50 KW, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 power factor at 415 Volt suitable for 50Hz, 3 Phase Systemas per specifications and conditions.

DIESEL ENGINE : 4 cylinders, 4 stroke cycle, water cooled, turbocharged Charged After cooled, developing 84 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514. The engine shall be provided with electrical starting `arrangement & shall give the electrical output of 62.5KVA/ 50 KW at 0.8 power factor, 415Volts at the alternator terminal with AMF panel

GENSET CONTROLLER -Genset controller shall be a microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system. The control provides a simple operator interface to the generator set, manual and remote start/ stop control, shutdown fault indication, and an LCD hour counter. The integration of all functions into a single control system provides enhanced reliability and performance compared to conventional generator set control systems. The control has been designed and tested to meet harsh environment in which gensets are typically applied.

Alternator :- Alternator shall be suitable for continuous operation generating 62.5 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415Volts, 0.8 power factor suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase system. The alternator shall be in SP-DP enclosure, self excited, self regulated, foot mounted with ball and/ or roller bearings on end shields. The alternator confirms to IS/IEC 60034-1 & shall be suitable for operation in tropical conditions.The alternator shall be of self-excited, self regulated, self ventilated in brushless design, provided with suitable automatic voltage regulator and shall conform to BS:2613 or BS : 5000 and shall give rated output at NTP conditions.

CONTROL PANEL FOR DG SET :

The Generator control shall be indoor type, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof in sheet steel construction. The panel shall have doors at the front and back for proper maintenance. The panel shall have steel channel fabricated kick-plate and bolted type cable gland plate fitted at the bottom. The panel shall be constructed from 2 mm thick steel sheet. All the joint shall have proper gasket.

Monitoring and control devices shall be housed on the front door. Generally the construction of the panel will be such that various equipments for application will be housed in compartment. All incoming and out going power and control cables shall be from the bottom.

The panel will be equipped as follows :-

Incomer - 1 no. 3-pole, 63 Amp MCCB, Set of CTs for metering.

Indication Lamps :- Genset Running, Set on Load, Phase Indication.

SOUND ATTENUATED SYSTEM

The Sound Attenuated DG sets are designed and engineered by the CAD/CAM experts conforming to international standards and mandatory noise level norms achieving Noise level of 75 dB(A) at a distance of 1 Metres. in open environment.The system is made of high-class sheet metal fabricated panels of 16G thickness having modular construction with multi-fold sheet channels & ISMC section for ease of assembly and dismantling, and high quality Fireproof Acoustic material i.e. Rock Wool (50-100 mm thick having 64-96 kg/m3 density).

ACCOUSTIC MATERIALS :-

Acoustic enclosure ismade of CRCA sheets in munsel green shde and a structural/sheet metal base frame painted in black and fire retardant grade acoustic insulation material (P.U .Foam.) complying to IS 8183

VENTILATION

Accoustic enclosure is designed in such a way that there are no hot pockets around engine and it is provided with suitable designed engine radiator which does not allow the temperature to rise more than 70C above ambient temperature.To achieve optimal output and minimum sound level from the DG set, suitable openings are provide for increasing the inflow of air required for combustion & forced ventilation. Air intake system as per the recommendations and engine requirement are provided.

SILENCER

Specially designed low noise silencer with rain cap suitably optimised to meet stringent niose emission standards laid down by MoEF/CPCB

VIBRATION ISOLATION:-

To avoid transfer of vibration from genset to enclosure & surrounding specially designed vibration isolators are used.

Warranty: - Standard 2 years comprehensive warranty on Engine & Alternator, from the date of dispatch or 5000 Hrs. of operation from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier against any manufacturing defect. 5 Critical Parts of Engine (Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block, Camshaft, Crankshaft, Connecting rod) shall be warranted for 5 Years or 5000 Hrs. of operation whichever is earlier from the date of dispatch against manufacturing defect.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick includingaccessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut,bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providin and filling fuel (Diesel) for testing of D.G set

Providing & Laying of one number aluminium conductor, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed armoured/ XLPE power cable, 1.1 KV grade of following sizes on wall surface as required.

Armoured cable 50 sq. mm (3.5 core)

Providing and fixing following rating, four pole, 415 volts, On-Load change over switch unit, in sheet steel enclosure, with side handle operation,including drilling holes on the board, making connections, etc. as required:-
