A-Schedule A Supply SOR
Modification in existing EI system as per latest TAN, it includes:- Design and modification in existing interface and interlocking circuit of EI system, including modification in VDU,CCIP, MT, Data logger, EI, Relay rack complete wiring conforming to RDSO specification, as per technical requirement & tentative approved signaling plan/diagrams. Required hardware will be provided by railways except the wiring, material (i.e. connectors, interconnecting cable/wires, fuses 1 etc.) The work includes supply of modified ST/LT, interface and logic circuit, CCIP/VDU diagram etc. to suit the approved interlocking plan. It also includes modification in data logger/MT, carrying out FAT, SAT jointly with railways and satisfactory commissioning of the modified EI with full complements as per approved IP and central railway practices. All plans and wiring diagrams shall be prepared on AUTOCAD and supplied in both soft copy and hard copies (6 sets.)Alteration involving modification in more than 11 and up to 20 routes NOTE : If the alteration involves modification of routes up to 10, fixed cost as per the Rate mentioned in (i) above shall be paid. If the alteration involves modification of routes are more than 10 up to 20 routes, then, fixed cost as per the Rate mentioned in (ii) above shall be paid.
Resin cored wire as per specification No.IS:1921-1975 with Alloying element percentage as 63% SN (Tin) nd / 37% Pb (Lead) with percentage of various impurities not exceeding 2 the values Sb (Antimony 0.2% maximum, Cu (Copper) 0.1% maximum, As (Arsenic) 0.05% maximum, Fe (Iron) 0.02% maximum & other impurities mainly AI, Zn & Cd shall be limited. Excavation and Casting of main signal foundation as per Drg No SK 801 with 1 contractor's own materials including cement and anchor bolts of standard size. The required scaffolding Ferma etc for casting of foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost.

Erection of CLS post with surface base and signal unit on top or on OFF set Bracket, 3 fixing of front and back staging, ladder and guards, signal name plates/boards if any with contractors own brackets and fixing materials. This also includes erection of auxiliary signals like calling on, shunt signal if any. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site.

Installation of Eqpt. (Relays, resistance, chargers batteries etc. as applicable) & wiring of the same in apparatus cases as per location diagrams & circuit diagrams, as per Instruction of site incharge and practice.
Installation of earth electrode assembly as per Drg.No.RE/S&T/SIG/Tender/SK726/85 including earth wire connected through GI wire 8 SWG supported on M.S. flat of size 6mm x 40 mm to earth electrode as per drg. No.CR/S&T/SK-815 for sigg. Equipment such as lever frames, apparatus case, signals, relay racks, block instruments, and etc. as per RE manual. The earth value should be less than 10 Ohms including the lead wire. The value should be measured in presence of Rly. supervisor. It should be documented and painted on earth enclosure made of concrete.( only earth electrode will be supplied by Railway). All other material required for provision of earthing will be brought by the contractor.
Fabrication, supply and fixing of various type of MS flat clamps on girder bridges/rocky area on GI pipes/its coupler as per drawing with requisite no. of nut and bolts as per site requirement and as per the instructions of Railway Engineer at site.
Installation of unit earth as per RDSO/SPN/197/ver I or latest, to construct earthing of </=1 Ohm consisting of a digging the earth to required depth, insertion of electrode, filling of earth 15 enhancing compound & construction of chamber, measurement of earth value and all other work of earthing as per code of practice. All the consumables for mounting the copper tape inside the relay room, Exothermic weld materials and tools & fixtures for the welding copper tapes nd Electrodes etc shall be arranged by the contractor.
Erection, Fitting and Rail connection of Track Lead juntion Box on two supports 16 (M.S.angle) with contractor's fixing material and PVC jacketed wire for track lead connection including angles of size 40x40x5mm 1200mm length. This will include drilling of holes for track lead/side connections of rail. The work shall be carried out as per Drg. No.SK-845 or / & instructions of Rly engineer at site.
Provision of bounding with contractor's PVC jacketed wire rope for Track Lead connections. PVC jacketed wire rope should be of Galvanised steel wire rope 6 mm dia (6x19 stranded wire with steel core of 6mm dia) sheathed with PVC 2mm wall thickness, overall thickness 17 being 10 mm. Installation of EJB and Track devices of Digital Axle counter including digging of trench, drilling of holes, if required on rail, laying of Doubled walled antirodent corrugated pipe, 19 Medium class from track device to location box and making its terminations. (DWC pipe made up of High density polyethlene of 60mm outer dia of suitable length and all other accessories as per site requirement to be supplied by firm.) NOTE: Installation/programming/configuration/commissioning of Axle counter equipment to be carried out in accordance with latest guidelines issued by Railway/RDSO preferably by Authorised representative of OEM.
Refixing of electrical point machine, ground connection during phase working (Non 20 interlocked working) after removing the existing fitting if any, adjustment if necessary, cable termination, wiring, testing and commissioning of electrically operated point, fixing and connecting point indicator on derail switch if necessary. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. Unit(PER T/O=1 set)
Fixing of point machine on newly laid turnout on Wooden/MBC sleepers, fixing of ground connections, adjustment and testing with crank handle operations, Removal of ground 21 connection & point machines duly numbered. This will include fixing of bend pipes with welded frame for cable entry to machine. This will also includes necessary adjustment and smithy work, drilling of holes to tounge rails, fitting of insulation for tounge attachment, gauge plate & stretcher bars, cable termination & wiring if required. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Rly engineer at site. Unit(PER T/O=1 set)
Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid to trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness after clearing of route, bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8 m or more. If it is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Railway engineer at site. Drg No SK 805

Cutting of all types of Roads/platforms (except concrete type) for trenching and 24 excavation to depth of 300mmx300mm wide approx. and refilling after laying of RCC/GI/DWC pipe & to restore them to original condition. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Railway engineer at site. Drg No SK 807
Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, bridges etc. and concreting of ends with brick masonry at both ends as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Digging of trench 1.0 M deep from rail flange/road level (for LC) and, 0.3 Mtr to 0.6 26 Mtrs wide and back filling after placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe. (Placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe coverd separately). "Where ever depth of 0.5 m cable trench is not feasible, cable shall be protected as under:- Preparation of cement mixture 1:3:6 with contractor's own materials and spreading cement concrete mixture layer of 100 mm thick over the already laid cables in the excavated trench."
Fixing of modular termianal/fuse blocks alongwith all accessories with provision of 30 fixing holes on hylam sheets/side angles of Loc Box and fixing by galvanised nuts & bolts. This includes fixing on DIN channel alongwith PVC Comb type 'C' channel (size 2 inch x 2 inch) for cable termination of modular terminal. The PVC channel with cover to be supplied by firm as required. The work shall be done as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.
Termination of cable cores on ARA terminal/Disconnecting link/fuse blocks, in the 31 apparatus Cases/ cable termination rack. This includes all associated works of pulling out the cable from underground. The work shall be done as per location plans and instructions of Rly engineer at site.
Laying of GI pipes in on bridges/culverts/concrete drain/ mountain ridges etc. with 32 suitable GI bend shall be provided where there is turning of pipe as per instructions of the site engineer. GI Clamps at every 2 m as shown in the drawing to be fixed. Suitable holes to be made in the pipe before laying as per instructions of the site engineer. 100 mm dia. Drg No SK 808
Laying of GI pipes inside the excavated trench in rocky area/less depth area as per 33 instructions of the site engineer. GI Clamps at every 2 m as shown in the drawing to be fixed. Suitable GI Bend/Coupling and holes to be made in the pipe before laying as per instructions of the site engineer.
Releasing of cables from old location boxes and taking it into new location boxes. This includes excavating the earth to release the cables. From old location box for taking it into new location. This also includes releasing the old location box and bringing it to nearest station/central cabin. Location (old) will be released only after ensuring all working cables have been shifted in New location. Unit(Per location=1 set)
Making an entrance for new cable in old existing location, Casting concreting and curing of foundation and restoring it to old position by perfect masonary/concreting work. Contractor will ensure that cable entered in Location Box is properly protected.
Horizontal boring of cable duct of minimum 2.0 Mtr depth along with laying of 120mm HDPE pipe for track crossing with minimum depth reckoned from bottom of the rail/Road crossing with minimum depth reckoned from ground level. The work shall be done as per extant practice & 36 instructions of site engineer. Preparation of site for Horizontal Boring shall be carried out in presence o f Railway Representative. HDPE will be supplied by Railway. Note:- Contractor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling & pressure on cable.

Termination of Tail cable inside the point machine through bend pipe this includes preparatory work of pulling the cables, and peeling out the insulation, dressing and lacing after 38 termination etc., pulling of tail cable as per circuit requirement inside point machine through bend pipe, termination of cables on terminal blocks as per instruction of site supervisor the cable shall be entered in such a way that, armouring shall protect the cable near sharp edge of entry point and armouring shall be clamped between pipe fixing bracket and boy of point machine.
"Patching work in old location box consisting 1) Digging of pit, cleaning of earth from 39 all sides, breaking of seal of location boxes removal of sand from location, marking of new cable holes. 2) insertion cable from ground 3) making place for cable termination in old location, shifting ARA, fuse etc after removal and termination including fixing of ARA. 4) Termination of cable in old location. 5) Filling of sand and plastering to all sides upto 50 mm below ground level."
Shifting of existing full location boxes coming in the alignment of doubling. The work includes losing & removal of soil around loction boxes by excavating soil around foundation, making of pit for shifting of location box horizontally opposite to railway track up to 0.5 to 1.0 mtr. This 40 includes loosing of existing cable coils without any damage. The excavated soil shall be back filled after shifting of Location Boxes. Location box along with its foundation shall be shifted by push method with the help of jacks or by crane by contractors own expenditure under instructions of engineer in-charge at site. Any minor repairs in foundation due to patching shall also be carried out by contractor as per instruction of Engineer incharge. The work may affect train working hence the work shall be done as per margin only or during traffic block only.
Shifting of existing Half location boxes coming in the alignment of doubling. The work includes losing & removal of soil around loction boxes by excavating soil around foundation, making of pit for shifting of location box horizontally opposite to railway track up to 0.5 to 1.0 mtr. This 41 includes loosing of existing cable coils without any damage. The excavated soil shall be back filled after shifting of Location Boxes. Location box along with its foundation shall be shifted by push method with the help of jacks or by crane by contractors own expenditure under instructions of engineer in-charge at site. Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primeron the following 43 after scrapping and cleaning of the surface wherever necessary with contractor own supply of paints. Wherever required contractor shall apply coating of epoxy paint also as per insructions of site-in- charge. Epoxy will be supplied by Railways. NOTE:- The paint and primer should be from M/s Asian paints Co. Ltd.,. The paints will be primer (IS 5660 of 1970) the Aluminium synthetic block enamel (IS 2932 of 1974) brilliant white and yellow Painting two coats of enamel paint over one coat of primer.
Lettering / Numbering Termination particulars, equipments names etc., legibly and neatly inside location boxes.
Dismanthling/Releasing of the existing outdoor signalling items such as CLS unit with posts alongwith base, lever frames (5 levers set), battery box with equipments, location box with 46 equipments, block instruments, point machines, mechanical point, AFTC/DAC, Relay rack, CT Rack alongwith Relay rack. IDF with all accessories. All these unit will be counted as one no. along with their accessories. This includes the cost of transportation of released material from site to Railway scrap Depot.
