SPL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SETS OF MH AT TIBRI MIL STN

Supply, install, commissioning and testing complete Diesel Engine driven generating set of capacity 125 KVA or next higher capacity available/manufactured, water cooled, 415 volts (AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 HZ at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to Alternator or as recommended by the manufacturer on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the latest CPCB approved accoustic enclosure. (The complete set conforming to and test certificates as per CPCB norms and as specified) all as specified complete with AMF control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement flexible exhaust pipe complete and shall comprise the following :- (a) Engine (Prime Mover) : Diesel engine 1500 RPM of suitable BHP Turbo charged water cooled otherwise as applicable to the model mentioned) 12 volts electric battery start, complete with fly wheel and all standard fittings/fixtures as per manufacturing practice including suitable engine control panel/Dash Board with electronic techometer. Lub oil temperature & pressure gauges water temp gauge and battery charging gauge including safety automatic shut down in case of fault detection such as high water temperature low lubrication on pressure, over speed and also including self starter alternator for charging of batteries, cogged V. Blet, fuel tank (minimum 12 hrs capacity of consumption) with first fill of lub oil and coolant (as applicable) etc.

(b) Alternator AC alternator, 3 phase, 415 volts, 4 wire rated line current output of 100 KW PP 0.8 1500 RPM insulation class enclosure/SPDP self excited, self regulated brushess, complete with AVR with +1% voltage regulation directly coupled to and match the above engine. (c) Anti vibration pads for mounting engine alternator assembly on the base frame/plate or as recommended/provided by the manufacturer. (d) Base plate : Made out of structural steel as per manufactuer's recommended design and specifications. (e) Acoustic Enclosure Provision of an integral type approved/certified acoustic enclosure (Make of enclosure shall be as per CPCB for the DG sets to restrict the noise level to 75 dba at one meter. It shall be made of 2mm thick CRCA /MS sheet with powder coated finish on outside and provided with non igniting fire resistance/retardant foam as acoustic material and provided opanable and lockable doors with air tight gasket, interior light arrangement 02 Nos 20 watt LED with ON/OFF switch to meet latest emission norm. The base frame shall be of ISMC. It shall also include the following :-

(i) Silencer : Absorption type non-resistance, resisdential and exhaust pipe covered with asbestos rope lagging . (ii) Internal wiring with PVC copper conductor cable IS 694 marked. FRLS in conduit and fluorescent lamp fittings (iii) Fuel tank of 12 hours capacity but not less than made of 14 SWG CRCA / MS sheet duly powder coated and provided with float, gauge and fuel float switch. (f) One No 12V, 180 AH, 25 Plates maintenance free batteries complete with battery lead, provided one side copper thimble and other side heay duty brass terminal (As recommended by manufacturer) Note : (i) Catalogues Operation and maintenance manual, spare parts list overhauling manual 03 sets. (ii) Maintenance chart and manufacturer instruction shall be display on wooden board including catalogue board. (iii) Foundation for mounting of DG set shall be done as as per manufacturer design within overall cost quoted. (iv) Contractor shall be installed the DG set as per latest CPCB approved on the quoted rate. (v) Manufacturers recommended design, drawings and specifications shall be got approved by GE before placing the order / installation. (vi) Cost for above all are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rates.

Supply, laying & testing of cable XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, of size 150 sq mm, 3.5 core complete, all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft loose soil including cutting road surfaces n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m in depth for poles, stay, cable, pipe etc getting out all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading,leveling,watering and well ramming in layers each n.exc 25 cm thick in soft loose soil complete, all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above, the starting point complete, all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning trenches using fine sand to under ground cable, laid in two layers 8cm before laying the cable & 15cm after laying the cable complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay brick common burnt sub class "B" old size (compressive strength not less than 75 kg per Sqcm) for protection of cable laid in trenches for under ground cable complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 metre below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connection by using earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to main switch board protected by galvanised iron light grade pipe 40mm bore in wall/floor/and GI Pipe 20 mm bore light grade for watering with funnel and wire mesh PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC pit cover including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning slurry approved soil and disposed of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr away all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 ( Part-I) including testing on completion, all as specified and directed.
