The Polycarbonate Junction Box shall be environment friendly, recyclable, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & amp; anticorrosive. The Junction Box shall be rated for Degree of ingress Protection IP 66/69 in accordance with IEC 60529.Weatherproof UV-resistant, rainwater-proof, temperature-resistant. The gasket material of junction box shall be Polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded. The Junction Box shall be complies with requirements of the standards IEC 60998 - 1, IEC 60670 - 22& IEC 60670 - 2 - 5. The Junction Box Black Colour according to RAL 9011. The manufacturer ofJunction Box / Enclosure shall submit a copy of IEC Certificate . For better safety the Polycarbonate enclosure and shall be fire retardant & self - extinguishing in accordance with IEC60695 - 2 - 11, DIN VDE 0304 Part - 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested atGlow Wire test for 960 degree Centigrade & Current Carrying Capacity upto 102Amps. The impactstrength of Polycarbonate enclosure / boards i.e. the Degree of protection against mechanical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 - 98 for IK 08 including one No. 4 pole connector and one no.
