Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual /mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock chiselling, wedging out of rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades ,width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 & 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means/ labour if required. The recovery for 23.31 cubic metre useful stones shall be made at the rate of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) per cubic metre from the bills on pro-rata basis. Any loss to the public private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation in earth work etcetra in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock, chiesling / wedging out of rock (Where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out ture to the required lines, grade, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes as shown in the drawing and if water is met within the excavation due to springs, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by the suitable divertion pumping or bailing out and excavation shall be kept dry whereever so required by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and disposal of all surplus excavated soil in acquired width or at an approved dumping side including its stacking leveling dressing in all leads and lifts by head-load, mechanical transportation or by any other mode of transportation with all cost of labours, machinaries and other incidentals to complete the work as per HPPWD specification. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceable material shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:5:10 ( One cement is to five sand is to ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size in or under water including pumping or bailing out water( surface and sub soil water), dewatering for all heights /depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying under water for all heights/ depths, including the cost of form work and curing for 14 ( fourteen) days after completion in Retaining walls and Breast walls etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 802, 900 and 1200 and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing 100mm (Hundred millimeter) diametre PVC pipe Weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutments, wing walls return walls and retaining /breast walls etctra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) (one vertical is to twenty horizontal ) towards drawing face complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental.
