B-List of items of work that are not covered under Southern Railway

Collection of Survey records, Maps, Ownership rights of Railway and available Railway land plans for complete width/area of Railway land. Computerizing the tippans/FMB'S and generating a Railway land boundary map as per Revenue Records of State. Computerizing the available railway land plans and checking both sets of boundary maps for confirmity of railway boundary, doing accurate cadastral and field survey to verify the Contents or field land village/city map sheets and railway land plans as well as Railway land boundary maps develop in above duly recording the mandatory field details for location of boundary such as one UP or one DN main through line and a 1 few important land marks/structures (at least one per KM) and adjacent properties (Revenue survey No.) along the Railway Boundary, obtaining authentication of Railway land boundary in a manner acceptable to the State Survey & Land Record Department which will be kept as a record standing legal scrutiny. Preparing final hard copy of Railway land boundary map in scale 1:1000 with details as recorded during survey in above which will be used by Railway Officials to locate their land boundary and other land assets with respect to UP & DN Main through line & important permanent land marks/structures preparing a customized geographic/land information system to suit Railway requirements for land management. Note - Measurement details of existing land plans are in miles and feet but measurement of subject work land plan are to be kilometres and meters (metric system) only for Station and Railway colony over area of Chennai Division." Updating reconciling reconstruction and certification of Railway land boundaries in railway land plans with revenue records available with state survey and land records department in a manner acceptable to the State Revenue Authorities, incorporating adjacent properties, fixing start and end chainage conducting field survey for locating the railway boundary on ground by referencing the location with respect to the through main line track, Identifying and recording tracks, bridges, FOBs, ROBs, RUBs, and level crossings also recording a few important permanent landmarks/ structures such as temple, big buildings, towers etc., (at least 1 per Km) inside or alongside the Railway boundary which can serve as reference point for future cadastral/engineering survey, preparing separate survey map on linen cloth showing the Railway boundaries, adjacent properties through main line track and important permanent land marks/structures (at least 1 per Km) in map scale 1:1000. Deliverables will include all authentic documents pertaining to the authenticity of the railway boundaries, survey maps in scale 1:1000 with details as mentioned above. Note Measurement details of existing land plans are in miles and feet. But measurement details of subject work land plans are to be in Kilometres and meters (metric system) only, for all mid section, open line adjoining station area on the both sides except station area and colony area. Note for item no. 1 & 2: Railway land boundary plan/map will have to be got authenticated from the state survey and land records/ revenue department, Government of Tamil Nadu in a manner acceptable to them. Providing and fixing Stone Pillars/ RCC Pillars of Size 1300x250x250mm along the proposed land boundary and for Benchmarks as per terms of reference & relevant provisions of Indian Railways Code for Engineering Department (1999,Third Reprint) with up to date correction Slips and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge on straight and curves as per Scope of Work & Technical Specifications with Contractors' own materials,tools and plants; including all leads and lifts, transportation,making own service roads for leading of stones & materials and crossing of track etc.; including all taxes and royalties complete;including painting, marking the pillars at site; The rate includes the cost of all materials including erection of stones etc., Location of Stone pillars.1) Erection of boundary pillars at every 50 mts interval or at every change of location of boundary, which ever is 3 less with 700mm projection above the ground level and 600mm below GL at earmarked location, embedding in CC (1:4:8) of 400x400x700mm size base concrete, duly marking the distance of the centre line of proposed line from theboundary. 2) Bench marks shouldbe marked with 700mm projection above the ground level and 600mm below GL at earmarked location embedding in CC (1:4:8) of 400x400x700mm size base concrete, at intervals of not more than one kilometre along the line and at site of important bridges, duly marking BM Number / Value/ Chainage. In every case the position chosen for a bench mark should be such that it can be conveniently referred to during construction and is, at the sametime, not liable to be interfered with during the progress of construction. 3) Boundary pillar /Benchmarks Pillars are to be painted with RED paint for identification and markings in white or black paint.
