Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

All materials should be in good quality as per specification, quality certificate for the same should be obtained from the concerned authority at their own cost.

Acceptence / Cancellation of the works are reserved by under signed without any reasons for the same.

Corrigendums modifications correction if any will be published in the website only.

All the scanned documents pertaining to bidder to be uploaded shall be in original and same originals should be produced to the Executive Engineer (at the time of Technical Bid Opening) who reserves right to verify the orginal documents before approval.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

All the materials to be utilized for the work must be tested in authorised labs and quality control test reports must be enclosed to the bills. All types of pipes and pumping machineries with Accessories and other materials must be tested by third party agencys. Cost of all QU tests must born by contractor

If any date in the tender time table is government holiday, next working date will be considered

Incomplete / conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The rates of items are inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges, HOM of machinery, all lead and lifts and all other charges to complete the work successfully as per specifications and as directed by engineer in charge of work

The tenderers must submit the scanned documents in pdf / jpeg form, not in other form.

Any objection regarding the tender must be submitted directly to Executive Engineer , not in inward.

For interpretations of clauses, conditions, spelling mistakes, etc decision of Executive Engineer, RDW&S Chikodi is final.

Unconditional Liquid Assets/Bank Line of Credit from any Nationalized/Scheduled bank of not less than 30% of the 5th year estimated O and M cost of Rs.XXX Lakhs (Credit lines/ letter of credit/ certificates from banks for meeting the fund requirement etc. Conditional LOC not acceptable.

Bidder should Submit only unconditional Line of Credit in the prescribed format only from the Bank

Third party consults may be engaged for checking quality and quantity of work and to prevent any misuse. proper reporting methods trough these agencies and their comments to be reviewed addressed immediately at district level. quality of work is of most importance.

As per Karnatka State Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Blore dated 01.01.07 and Government letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.07, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare Fund. & Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt Orders.

Materials like pipe, CI pipe, cement aggregate sand etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and shall be of standered quality as per IS specifications and should get tested by the quality control authority before used to the work at his own cost.

The work should be carried out in accordance with the standard specifications specified by the department.

The work should be executed strictly as per the tender specification mentioned. Contractor should arrange for quality check at different stage of work for quality assurance as per direction of Engineer-in-charge during the work in progress and after completion. If any failures found the cost will be recovered from the contractor and will be recommended for black listing immediately.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt Orders

Tenderers must have valid PWD registration and must submit PWD registration copy

Contracter Should Achieved in at least two financial years a minimum financial turnover in last five financial years (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of Rs.XXX Lakhs (two times of the estimated O and M Cost of 5th year or average of all the years estimated O and M cost)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs.XXX Lakhs (50% of estimated cost of tender)

The successful bidder within 15 days from the date of work oder must install at the work spot all the plant and machineries of this notification and without the writing permission of concerned officer in charge of the work should not shift them.

The successful bidder/contractor during maaintainance period has to submit water log book details of jackwell pumps and intermediate pumps if any, Water quality test report, alum dosage and bleaching powder dosage register copy, satisfactory supply of water from concerned PDO and other relevant documents if asked by the departmentalong with the bill.

EPF registration should be done

The contractor should provide daily these staff memnbers on site. (1) pump operatores-2 Nos (2) Valve mans-3 Nos (3) Helper cum watchman-1 Nos total Nos 6 (The list & documents regarding availability of these staff shoud be enclosed)
