REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF LT PANEL BOARDS/FEEDER PILLAR BOXES, CONTROL PANELS AND CONNECTED ACCESSORIES AT A, B AND D AREA UNDER GE CHENNAI

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil n. exc. 1.50m wide and n. exc. 1.50m deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay fine sieved excavated dry soil cushioning spreading levelling for cable trenches all as specified and directed (Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying burnt bricks, old size, sub class 'B', laid flat abutting each other, perpendicular to cable with width equal to width of brick laid in trenches for protection of cable incl taking out old unserviceable ones all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing PVC/XLPE, 1100 grade, LT UG electric cable of size 95sqmm x3.5 core from trenches/ walls (or) passing through pipes/in floor and removing the unserviceable fault cable and carefully stacking the serviceable cable for reusing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items:-

All as per item No. 6.00 above but cable size 150 sqmm 3.5 core.

All as per item No. 6.00 above but cable size 185 sqmm 3.5 core.

All as per item No. 6.00 above but cable size240 sqmm 3.5 core.

Laying only the under ground cable obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc. connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleeves etc. and size 95 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 10.00 above but cable size 150 sqmm 3.5 core obtained from item no 07 above.

All as per item No. 10.00 above but cable size 185 sqmm 3.5 core obtained from item no 08 above.

All as per item No. 10.00 above but cable size 240 sqmm 3.5 core obtained from item no 09 above.

Supply & Lay in trenches fixed on wall (or) passing through pipes/in floors connecting up testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated armoured LT UG electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size 95 sqmm 3.5 core conforming to IS specification complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 14.00 above but cable size 150 sqmm 3.5 core.

All as per item No. 14.00 above but cable size 185 sqmm 3.5 core.

All as per item No. 14.00 above but cable size 240 sqmm 3.5 core.

M&L cable jointing kit for PVC/XLPE/ LT UG cable jointing straight through heat shrink type joints complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 95 sqmm 3.5 core cable incl taking down old unserviceable ones complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 18.00 above but for 150 to 185 sqmm 3.5 core cable.

All as per item No. 18.00 above but for 240 to 300 sqmm 3.5 core cable.

Supply and laying GI tube light grade 100mm bore with suitable joints and clamps laid in trenches/ fixed on walls complete for cable protection including taking down old pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S& F for PCC type C-1 1:3:6 (20mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified and directed for making good the disturbed surface of walls/roads etc.

Fabrication and installation of cable route indicator made out of 10 mm thick CI plate , oval shape of suitable size and embossed with Mark of " MES LT Cable " including 30 cm length angle iron support and embedded in and including PCC and taking down old unserviceable ones complete all as specified and directed.

S& F for GI earthing strip 25x4 mm in trenches/walls and floors with saddles and fixing screws etc/through pipes etc and connecting to earth terminal complete including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of GI Strip of size 32 x6 mm in trenches/walls and floors with saddles and fixing screws etc/through pipes etc and connecting to earth terminal complete and taking down old unserviceable ones complete all as specified and directed.

Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) Panel for 3 Phase, 415 V & 50 Hz system of capacity 2 KVAR including incoming MCCB of suitable rating and connecting to distribution panel with suitable size of copper cables complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to existing LT Panel boards indoor/outdoor type and attending repairs such as replacement of hinges, locking welding work to corroded portion of panel board, preparation of complete surface for painting of panel board with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer (only for welded portion) complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal groungnd level) with top edgee of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No-5 of SSR Part I connected to machanery/equipments installed power house/sub station all as specified including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed..
