SPL REPAIR TO ROAD AT UPPER GARRISON (JWG) UNDER GE 881 EWS

Preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 05 kg per 10 sq metre using paving bitumen, complete all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 wiith 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (I) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 5.5% as per per actual design mix, The prices adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. if the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 5.5% no prices adjustment shall be made for the same. (II) Job mix formula for Semi Dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutions specified in CA prior to commencement of work and shall be got approved from the GE. (iii) The Contractor shall submit certificate issued to Hot mix plant that plant is SDAC compliant before incorporating workat site. The Hot Mix plant visit has to be organized by Contractor for approval of GE. (iv) The plant shall be automatic type which must have facility to print the details of composition of material incorporated with all batches of SDAC.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exceeding 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc, and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instruction including cleaning the surface by removing all dirt, dust & all other foreign matters, demarcation at site and traffic control, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. including removal of old cat eye ,complete all as specified and directed.

Deduct Credit Amount as per Schedule of credit as details given on Srl Page No 18 of tender doucments.
