This same channel is then to be fixed in horizontal direction at 600mm centre to centre so as to form a grid of 600mm x 600mm. Glass wool of 50mm thickness is then to be inserted in the slots and finally calcium silicate non combustible panels/tiles are to be screw fixed with self tapping pan head nickel coated mild steel screws of size 13 x 3.2mm on to this grid leaving an even groove of 1 mm between the panels.
