Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400sqm, exceeding 50mm deep and not exceeding 100mm deep and removing where directed by Engr-In-Charge complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) granite, trap or Basalt stone, spread, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brush for removing cracked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 grade at the rate of 10 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brush for removing cracked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 grade at the rate of 5.0Kg per 10Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying premixed bituminous macadam (using binder not less than 4% by weight of total mix) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using VG-30 paving bitumen, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: No extra payment will be made if binder is more than 4%.

M&L for Repair to potholes not exceeding 1.0sqm each, depth exceeding 30mm, including sweeping free from dust & mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat at 5.0kg per 10sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed & sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size & again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder & chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber or gradient using 8 to 12 ton power roller complete all as directed and specified. Note:- (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate of Rs 42/- per kg for paving bitumen VG-30. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder is used/approved in the execution of work under in this item

M&L for preparing surfaces and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide, with minimum uniform 1.5mm thick retro reflective Thermoplastic road marking paint (white or golden yellow colour) by hot mixing method as per IS specifications, heating with gas, to achieve minimum uniform thickness 1.5mm using painting materials @ 6.50kg/sqm and glass beads @250gm/sqm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Polycarbonate convex traffic Mirror 80cm mm dia, polycarbonate body mounted on 16 gauge MS pipe of 75mm outer dia fixed 1.5m above ground level and 60cm below ground level including PCC foundation of size 30x30x60cm PCC 1:3:6 type C1, bottom part of MS pipe welded with 5mm thick 125mmx125mm MS plate for anchorage in PCC. MS pipe shall be painted stove enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide including necessary form work, earth work excavation in any soil, removal and disposal of spoil complete all as specified and directed.
