M&L for preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism, providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Job mix formula shall be approved by CWE. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Computerised print out of data of bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant shall be provided to the GE by contractor.

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by CWE.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by CWE.

M&L for Thermo plastic road marking 2.0 mm thick painting (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on new or previously treated road surfaces) with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of new or previously treated road surfaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F vertical post made out of mild steel angle iron of size 40x40x6mm of 3.00 metre height painted in black & white alternative bands of 20cm width with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, with & including one definition plate of size 600x200mm made out of 2mm thick mild steel sheet duly pasted with matter in high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheet, fixed to pole, as per IRC standards, pole fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450x450x450mm deep including necessary excavation & earthwork, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed. S&F High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) grade retro reflective sheet in approved colour, cutting precisely in required shape & size, pasting on old/new stainless steel / mild steel / fiber sheet of sign board including removal of old unserviceable sheet where required and preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section and height upto 3.50 metre embedded in concrete, brick work, masonry etc including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified & as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F stainless steel of Grade 304 as in frame work made of hollow tubes, channels, angles, plates, etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing, making required shape & size, fitting with & including suitable size stainless steel bolts & nuts, riveted, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) of 20cm height with thick synthetic enamel paint of white tint including base painted with black paint complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster, terrazo etc on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new plastered or concrete surfaces of road side path, Kerb stone and the like of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of primer complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Painting to Kerb stones in alternate tint as approved by GE shall be carried out.

M&L for preparation of old plastered or concrete surfaces of road side path, Kerb stone and the like of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Painting to Kerb stones in alternate tint as approved by GE shall be carried out.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and pavings not exc 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) including floor tiles of any description complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made 60mm thick machine pressed precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of Grade M-35 conforming to IS 15658-2006 of shape and size as directed with grey cement and no pigment laid over & including 25mm thick sand cushioning, joints of blocks filled with dry sand and compacted with mechanical vibrator complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for factory made chequered cement concrete tiles, 25cm x 25cm x 20mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement & pigment, over & including 20mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparing surface and filling Moorum / red bajri in road side berms or paving, laid in thickness not exc 15 cm, spread, levelled and rammed to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller including watering complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Moorum / red bajri shall be brought from outside MD Land.
