ANTI WEED TREATMENT AND BASE LAYER OF PCC

Providing and supplying all labour material including borrowed / removal of earth for maintaining the FGL, equipments etc., soil sterilization / antiweed treatment including excavation, mixing / injecting chemicals to achieve the guaranteed effectiveness of treatment at least up to one year, rolling dressing, compacting the excavated earth within substation areas as per technical specification 100mm thick PCC (1:3:6) with 20 / 40mm graded aggregate as per technical specification.

JELLY SPREADING

a) After laying cement concrete (1:4:8) / brick edging in required slope / grade, 100mm thick layer of granite/basalt/trap jelly of 20mm size shall be spread over the entire switchyard area as per drawing and directions of engineer incharge of the work. The 20 mm nominal size shall pass 100% through IS. Sieve designation 40 mm and nothing through 16.00 mm IS Sieve. The whole switchyard area (excluding buildings pathway road, drainages, cable trenches, equipments/ structures plinths etc.) shall be covered with jelly spreading. The jelly used shall be free from dirt, organic materials and flakes.

b) Barricades shall be provided to confine Jelly Spreading which include construction of solid concrete block masonry in CM (1:6) with cement concrete solid blocks of proportion (1:5:3) crushing strength not less than 50 Kg. per Sq.cm / 40x40x20 cms. Size (l, b, h) conforming to IS 32185-196) including necessary curing etc. complete. The concrete block shall be 100 mm above gravel top. The exposed surface of barricades shall be plastered with 12 mm thick in CM (1:6) & two coat of water proof cement paint.

Design and construction of roads and walkways/shoulders within sub-station or outside the station as per specification, layout, sectional detail drawing and directions of Engineer-in-charge of work etc. complete in all respect.

Construction of Tube-well upto 100 Meter depth and above in all type of rocks by DTH system and over burden, to accommodate casing pipe of following sizes in all types of soils and over burden including lowering of casing pipes, but excluding cost of casing pipes as per IS:2800 (Part I & II) 1979 specifications. The work would be completed after obtaining sand free water. The tube well should have a throughout bore as per nominal dia of casing pipe : Work also includes Supplying and installation of submersible pumping motor pump sets I.S.I.
