Disconnection of electric connections from DG set of any description and in any position, for servicing, taking out & removing unserviceable/defective parts/spares, cleaning, servicing, de-scaling of water jackets, oiling and greasing of necessary parts, refixing the serviceable parts in position after servicing, replacement of unserviceable parts including draining-out of existing engine oil and filling new engine oil of same grade and filters, refixing of all accessories , make funtional and testing on full load complete all as directed for following capacity of DG sets. Note. (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Sch `A’ as `Supply only ‘ to the extent covered under the respective supply only items here-in- after but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Fresh engine oil replaced for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of Sch ‘A’ . However, cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item. (iv) All servicing of DG set shall be done by reputed staff of OEM. Servicing & test report shall be submitted after each service/ maintenance .

Disconnection of electric connections from trolly mounted diesel engine driven fire pump of capacity 36.8 KW, 3 Phase of any description and in any position, decoupling the engine from alternator unit for servicing, taking out & removing unserviceable/defective parts/spares, cleaning, servicing, de-scaling of water jackets, oiling and greasing of necessary parts, refixing the serviceable parts in position after servicing, replacement of unserviceable parts including draining-out of existing engine oil and filling new engine oil of same grade and filters, refixing of all accessories , make funtional and testing on full load complete all as directed at site. Note. (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. Supply and topping up of best quality antifreezing Coolant liquid for DG Set of various capacity and locations complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Engine oil, multi grade premium Genuine oil 20W40 as per manufacturer recommendations in DG sets complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Indian oil/ Hindustan Petrolium/ Castrol/ BPCL

Supply and applying Petrolium Jelly (01 Kg plastic sealed container) complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Indian oil/ Hindustan Petrolium/ Castrol/ BPCL

Checking/servicing of DG Set battery 12 volt,90/100/180AH cleaning of battery terminals by hot water and applying petrolium jelly over battery terminals, water level checking including topping up with distilled water complete all as specified and directed. Note - Battery terminal, battery cable and distilled water will be measured and paid separatly)

Material for Battery leads of PVC insulated, multistranded, copper conductor of size 70 sqmm of 1.25 mtr long ach duly fixed with brass clamps, copper lugs suitable for DG set batteries installed at different locations complete including removal of extg unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Material for battery teriminal brass clamps including removal of extg unserviceable one compete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in charge.

Supply only distilled water for topping up in lead acid batteries complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only electrolyte of suitable specific gravity for lead acid batteries in sealed container complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for fuel steel braided pipe with benjo bolts and washers etc of length 60 cm long including removal of extg unserviceable one compete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in charge.

M & L for Anti vibration pads with suitable bolts and washers including removal of extg unserviceable one compete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in charge.

M & L for canopy hinges for acoustic doors with suitable bolts and nuts of DG set including removal of extg unserviceable one compete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in charge.

M & L for Repair/ overhauling of self starting / Exciter system of DG set including replacement of corban brushes, bearings, bushes, rewinding of armature and field coil etc and varnishing of capacity 24 volts with necessary connections incluing testing and commissioing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Repair/ overhauling of self starting system of DG set including replacement of corban brushes, bearings, bushes, rewinding of armature and field coil etc and varnishing of capacity 12 volts with necessary connections incluing testing and commissioing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down radiator assembly from engine mounting by opening water hoses & nut bolt, Cleaning of radiator from inside and outside with anti rust solution, Checking the radiator by filling water and repairing for any leakage by brazing the radiator and ensure for no leakage. refixing the radiator at place including water hoses and replacement of unserviceable parts for following capacity of DG sets. Note:-Spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

(a) Upto 125 KVA.

Dismantling the fuel injection pump from engine block of DG set , connecting all fuel inlet and outlet lines, disconneting the drive for carrying out repairs/replacements inclunding calibration , re assembling of FIP and fixing back in position after repair / replacement of unserviceable parts for DG set of the following capacity to the entire satisfaction of Engr- in- charge. Note:- 1. Calibration of FIP complete shall be got done from manufacturer authorized dealer/workshop to entire satisfaction of Engineer - in -Charge. 2. Shifting and loading /unloading of FIP and transporting for repair in workshop at indore city from GE(AWC) area mhow is including in deemed rate.

Disconnecting / taking down unserviceable alternator armature from DG set , transport to civil workshop by civil vehicle opening the same and taking out by cutting burnt winding wire complete rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge, insulating material , warnishing finishing and connecting at its position, testing & commissioning of DG set upto 320 KVA capacity capacity to the entire satisfaction of Engr- in- charge.

Taking down old turbo charger assembly from engine mounting by opening nut, bolt and transporting to civil workshop for repairing , cleaning and servicing from inside and outside with anti rust solution, checking the same and reparing for any leakage by brazing the turbo charger and ensure for no leakage. refixing the turbo charger at same place in DG set upto 320 KVAcapacity. Note:- Transportation cost included in unit quoted rate.

M & L for Engine complete overhauling of DG set capacity upto 500 KVA of Kirloskar/ Crompton Greaves makes or equivalent makes by opening the top cover complete including dismatlling the engine head, cylinder liner and piston assembly, crankshaft assembly, radiater fan belt and radiator fan, gear assembly complete removing of engine side for repair/ replacement of parts i.e gasket, washer, 'O' ring all types etc including grinding polishing of crank shaft , head repairing and overhauling valve seat cutting and replacing, valve tapping, head assemble and testing of DG set after necessary repair with and authorised dealer fix at site reassembling of DG set and testing on full load upto entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge all as directed (Note :- Measure spare parts will be measured and paid seperately under relevent items)

S & F for microprocessor based multifunction controller suitable for DG sets operation of any capacity and showing the various parameters such as volt, ampere, frequency, RPM etc complete as per site requirment including removal of extg unserviceable one complete all specified and as directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron strep 32 x 6 mm as earthing lead by mean of nut/bolt and washer of galvanized iron or steel drawn through 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009 including necessary excavation and earth work GI pipe 20mm dia light grade for watering PCC chamber with PCC cover in cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1(20mm graded aggregate), funnel, wire mesh, charcoal dust, salt etc, connected to panel board as indicated including testing complete.
