REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM, PIPE LINE, PUMPS, MOTOR, FILTRATION PLANTS, SUPPLY OF CHEMICAL FOR WATER FILTRATION PLANT AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT JAK LI RTC DHANSAL UNDER GE (ARMY) DHAR ROAD

Taking proper shut down in writing disconnecting all the electrical connections, dismantling the unserviceable motor any type centrifugal motor with pump from the base plate and pump and shifting the same to approved workshop for repair/rewinding. Dismantling the motor, cutting and removing the old heated up/burnt winding of the stater /rotor, cleaning the slots and replacement of brunt spare parts and reassembling the motor including transportation back the same after rewinding and reassembling, for size of electric motor 10 to 20 HP complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in- Charge.

Note for item 1 and 2:- (a) Rewinding of motor will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. (b) The motor shall be squirrel cage induction/slipring induction motor. (c) The contractor shall reinstall the motor within one week after handing over for repairs failing which a penalty @ Rs. 1000/- per day of delay will be charged from the contractor. (d) The rates quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of loading/unloading, transportation, grease, nuts, bolts and washers of any size and shape as required at site and refixing of motor duly functional and testing at its original location/position complete all as specified and directed. (e) Replacement of unserviceable bearings and greasing them completely. Bearing shall shall be measured and paid separately. (f) Motor shall be dismantled at workshop in presence of JE concern and inspected by the Engineer -in-Charge. A repair note shall be prepared by the contractor which shall be signed by contractor, JE, EIC and counter signed by GE. Winding cut shall be made in presence of EIC.

Rewinding the motor rotor with super enamelled copper winding wire/strip as per existing size and truns etc including all the insulating materials i.e varnish, cotton tape insulating paper and soldering etc of motor capacity upto 10HP complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:- (a) Winding cut shall be made in presence of EIC and reassembling shall be done after inspection by the EIC. (b) Rewinding wire of motor will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. (c) The motor shall be squirrel cage induction/slipring induction motor.

Servicing of pumps of capacity 3 to 10HP , Greasing including replacement of nuts & bolts of any size as per site requirement

M&L for gland packing with suitable size to stuffing box of pump of any capacity and making the box leak proof complete all as specified.

M&L for greasing to bearing of pumps and motors of any size by hydraulic grease gun complete all as specified

M&L for cleaning of tank complete with drain out muddy water from tank and removing all other foreign material like scales, sludge, slit etc and despositing where directed and cleaning of tank by scrapping internally wall surfaces of water tank using wire brush and blades complete and including two coats of white wash using lime to cleaned surface of tank, cleaning of drain trench and removal of small grass and shrubs in the vicinity of tank of capacity 30000 gallon capacity raw water pre sedimentation tank at Filter plant Dhansal house all as directed by Engineer-in-Chage.

All as per item Srl No 7 above but of capacity 10000 gallon raw water sedmentation tank at Jhajjar Nallah.

S&F in replacement of old unserv starter by DOL starter consisiting of ampmetre,voltmetre,indicator lamp,ON/OFF push button,TP MCB etc suitable for motor pump set of capacity upto 10 H.P. including making all electric connection complete all as specified. Supply only Flat water proof submersible cable 3 core copper conductor, PVC insulated 1100 volts grade stranded 10 Sqmm , ISI marked and connected to pump motor through water tight sealing joints complete all as specified. Make: National Cables / Finolex / Havell's/Plaza
