SPL REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROAD AND PATH AT SOMNATH ENCLAVE AT SUKNA MIL STN UNDER GE SUKNA 2nd Call

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n. exc. 400 sq.m. exc 50 mm and n exc 100mm deep Complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 7.5 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with lime Stone, Sand Stoneetc aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) , spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced / new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. and Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 @ 0. 70-1.0 kg/sqm on surface o WMMIVVBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning surface complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (condolidated theknis 50 mm or less) with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 50 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The contractor's quoted rate shall be also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the bitumen content from the GE before providing Bituminous Mecadum. (ii) In case of varition in bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparision with the bitumen content as specified above, the varition in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 42 per Kg.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SCAC) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content of paving bitumen grade 30 pack (VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and remixed material laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The contractor's quoted rate shall be also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the bitumen content from the GE before providing Bituminous Mecadum. (ii) In case of varition in bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparision with the bitumen content as specified above, the varition in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 42 per Kg. (iii) The thickness of SDAC indicated above is the minimum thickness, Further it is clearfied that no payment for the addl. thickness in case required to be provided to achieve the desired levels, slope and making the undulations etc all as directed by the GE, shall be made.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and Applying evenly a priming/tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on buminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanica sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed

M&L for applying thermoplastic road marking paint white or golden yellow confirming to BS-3262 appled on road/pavement as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc 10 cm in width & of thickness not less than 2 mm, with an including combination of retro reflective glass beads 250-300gm/Sqmall as per manufacture's instruction, using thermoplastic applicaton unit etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed.
