Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc including removing of all rubbish off from the site complete all as specified and directed

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even & fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on ceiling surfaces finished fair & even and applying three coats of white wash including prepration of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface by complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) using 80 grade sanding pad and make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) per sqm over prepared surface of wall and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander using sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface even and smooth complete and make it free from dust etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of acrylic water based interior /exterior grade primer @ 0.9 ltr (undiluted)/10 sq mtrs mixed with water in 1:1 ratio complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion paint of approved colour complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparing old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying one coat of cement paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coat of cement paint complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing treatment on walls (any number of layers) by scrapping with steel scrappers or any other means, including filling depressions of scrapped surfaces with wall care putty and preparation of surfaces for further treatment and applying two coats of cement base paint over and including one coat of ready made cement primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L rewriting or repainting of existing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) not exceeding 30cm high with fluorescent paint complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for BOQ Srl Item No. 1 to 11 :- (a) The preparatory and application work pertaining to periodical services shall be got executed from authorized applicator duly certified by the manufacturer of the paint, distemper, putty etc. (b) The contractor shall obtain approval of the agency from GE within 10 days of the award of the contract and shall enter a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the manufacturer duly approved by GE. The copy of MOU shall be submitted to the department by the contractor within 10 days of the award of the contract. The execution of work shall only be commenced after the submission of MOU and necessary approval from the Engineer-in-Charge. MOU shall be valid during the currency of the work. However, during defect liability period if any defect is noticed, the contractor shall only be responsible for rectification of the same.

Notes (Contd /....) (c) Necessary scaffolding, props, jacks, shuttering & ladder shall be provided by the contractor. Green cloth shall be provided all around the work site for any position/ height with all other safety precautions (i.e. safety jacket, safety shoes, helmet, safety harness, safety goggles etc). Rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the above arrangement and nothing extra shall be admissible. The work shall only be commenced after the proper check of safety precautions by the Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Insurance for each worker shall be provided by the contractor and it shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) Masking/ covering of window/ doors during spray painting using polythene film shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate (f) No payment for additional height shall be paid to the contractor. (h) Completion of the work shall only be issued after proper cleaning of floors/mats and clearing of site has been done by the contractor all as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.
