SPECIAL REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS AT INFANTRY SCHOOL AND NEAR SURYA CHOWK UNDER GE BELGAUM

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, exceeding 50 mm and not exc 100 mm thick including for removing n exc 50 metres and stacking including 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), granite trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient materials and camber requiredcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content ( Paving Bitumen) laid or rolled and compacted to required gradient camber (consolidation thickness 75mm or less) all as specified.

M/L preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadom by wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc; and applying evenly priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sqm all as specified and directed .

M/L preparing surfaces of black top by wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc; and applying evenly priming/tack coat with hot bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm all as specified and directed .

M/L bitumenous pre-mixed semi-dense asphaltic bitumenous concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, rolled & compected to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed .

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) all as specified and directed .

M&L for providing 2.5mm thick road marking strips (reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe, heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface including cost of materials labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc to applicable specifications incl scrubbing out old worn out markings etc , complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in repair road studs (Cats-eye) of size 100x100 mm, white or yellow colour, ABS body with reflective glass elements (white or red) in duo directions fixed on road with two component epoxy hardener and resin/ HT nail as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and directed.
