Removing old layers of paints by scrapping with metal wire brush and suitalbe tools and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower and applying one coat of film thickness of Apcotrak is of Asian or berger or equavalent road marking paint, water based matt finished as per IS-164 of white, Golden yellow, deep orange, red and black in lines, dashes arrows, circle trangle etc, on concrete or, bitumen surfaces/ pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm in width with marking machine series with two Guns or equivalent or higher capable to work. (Airless spray applications as per IS-164/RM-164) ,complete as per FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) introduced a new regulation in 2019 under AC5340-1M and as per ICAO standards all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Rates for supply of materials shall be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces by scrapping with metal wire brush and suitable tools and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower and applying one of synthetic enamel paint of any tint as in line, dashes letter etc on concrete or bitumen surfaces/ pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm in width with white/black/red/yellow/orange or any other approved tinf etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Rates for supply of materials shall be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of concrete/ bituminous pavements and roads by cleaning with metal wire brushes, brooms and finally dusting with a piece of cloth/ rags and applying one coat of white wash on surfaces exc 10 cm complete all as specified and directed.. Note :- Rates for supply of materials shall be included in the quoted rate.

Scraping of grass shurbs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc manually at ground level including removal of small irregularities in natural ground stacking of spoil into heaps and removal of spoil exc 250mtrs and and not exc 500mtrs and deposting wheredirected by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Measurement for scrapping of grass shall be measured only one time upto period of completion required scraping of grass during the period of completion No payment shall be made and separated which is already included in quoted rate.

Cleaning of drains by removing silt, taking out brick bats, pebbles, muds, clay sludge etc from the bottom of drain and culvert bed and removing to a distance not exc 50 m and deposited where directed, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick / concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified. Note:- The demolished material should be disposed off out side the MOD land. The contractor shall quote his rates considering this aspect.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick cement mortar (1:4) on brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Maintenance of airfield shoulders by deploying Tractor with suitable capacity jungle jim with tractor operator and two Helpers for cutting of grass and one helper for sweeping grass after cutting of grass bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Runway shoulders and airfield areas including supply of fuel,lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for smooth operation of equipment deployed including maintenance of tractor, jungle jim, insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note : (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of user. (b) 01 Nos of Jungle jim shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. (c ) The work is required to be exelcuted along main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any distrubance for flying. (d) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (e) Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. (f) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Cutting Bushes any type and area covered with thick bushes and removing roots and making good the disurbed surface by filling along the sides of Runway shoulders by Mechanically using JCB and One chain Saw Tree Cutting Machine including Operators and two Un-skilled labours along with Fuel, lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for,Eight Hours per Day includin removing of bushes, roots, loose items to a distance exceeding 250m bu not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of users. (b) One JCB and one chain saw, Tree cutting Machine including Operators and Two Un-skilled labours for Eight Hours for cutting bushes per Day shall be treated as One Job. (c) Proper care shall be taken while removing th roots etc.ato avoid and damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (d) The works is required to be executed along Main/Seconday Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours eithef during Day or Night without causing and ditrubance for flying. (e) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (f) Proper safety arrangement equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. (g) The rate quted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Periodic Supply of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of Make Honda or equivalent with Machine operator and one Helper for Cutting and sweeping grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area. Taxi, Track, Runway, shoulders and Airfield areas , including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required includin maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees includin removing of debris to car distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-charge and representative of user. (b) One No of Hand held Grass cutting Machine shall be mad available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. (c) An area of 1000 Square Metres shall be treated as one job for masurement and payment purpose irrespective of the plant, machinery and mapower emplyed for each job. (d) The work is required to be exelcuted along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any distrubance for flying. (e) The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. (f) Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. (g) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Note:- (i) Painting Work shall be carried out by authorised applicator as approved by AGE (I). (ii) Site shall be handed over based on flying operations. Contractor will be informed as soon as possible with in minimum 02 days prior notice period. The contractor shall accordingly make arrangements for adequate labours and material for work completion. (iii) Working hours may be restricted due to flying operation. (iv) Daily Log Sheet/Book commensurate to users certificate shall be maintained by the Contractor and the same shall be signed by all Concerned i.e. JE Civil, Engineer-in-Charge Contractor and user Rep and shall be kept in Record during Payment as per APPX 'D' given in PS.
