[7.21.1]Brick work with common burnt clay non-modular bricks of class designation 10.5 in foundation and plinth in: 1. Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Providing and laying 50 mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% per cent of the required quantity after carrying out necessary check and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenation as required, grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause No.519. (5th revision) 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum Bitumen content 3.4% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula) using 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, appropriate roller and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note:- If bitumen required is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula, no extra payment will be paid. Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work..

The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- credit of old milling material @ 1673/- Cum Note:- Basic rates mentioned in BOQ are inclusive of all taxes (i/c GST), duties, cess, royalties etc. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
