Conducting Borehole Investigation (Onshore, Offshore) and offshore geophysical surveys in the proposed Shipbuilding yard site near V.O.Chidambaranar Port, Tuticorin

Mobilization of hydraulically operated jack up platform, drilling rigs, other equipment and accessories and manpower for conducting Borehole Investigation using triple-tube core barrel in accordance with BS code or ASGM standards required for execution of work

Setting up of jack up platform on each offshore borehole location including positioning by using Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) for conducting Borehole investigation with trible-tube core barrel upto a depth of (-)20m below seabed in the proposed area through all types of rock/soil. The cost inclusive of positioning of jack up platform in each borehole location, shifting of jack up platform after collection of samples and conducting required in-situ test during boring, from one borehole to another location, including erection and dismantling of rig and hire charges for necessary machineries / equipments required for drilling operation, labour materials for entire work and as per relevant IS codes etc., charges for men and machineries, required safety arrangements, Taxes etc., required to complete the work as per specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Conducting In-situ tests, Collection of samples through boring 150mm dia boreholes upto (-)20m below existing seabed / ground level through all type of soil / rock including conducting field test such as standard penetration test (SPT), and other in-situ tests, collection of undisturbed soil samples through rotary core drilling with a tribel-tube core barrel. The cost inclusive of collection of undisturbed samples, conducting SPT, Provision of core boxes for preserving the sample, other in-situ tests as detailed in Annexure-1, hire charges for men and machineries required for complete the work as per standard specifications and as directed by departmental officers.

Conducting laboratory tests in soil/rock and Preparation & submission of Geo-technical Investigation Reports along with procedures adopted for investigation, field Observations, summarized test data, conclusion and recommendations etc., as per relevant IS Codes etc., and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Conducting offshore geophysical survey for an area of 10 sq.km
