Charges for single joint Bevelled Ends circumferential butt welding for the joint of following thickness of MS pipe with bevelled ends which shall be bevelled to an angle of 30 degree measured from the line perpendicular to the axis of various diameter by matching the ends exactly after properly cleaning, preparing the surface and welding as per IS 3589 (2001) using suitable welding electrode as per IS 814 (Part 2) -1974 (E6010 /E6011/E7016/ E76018) for required thickness. Welding shall be done so that there shall be thorough fusion and complete penetration. Prior to welding, the ends of the pipes shall be fitted closely and they shall be held firmly while welding. Welding the joints shall be done both inside and outside of the pipe of 600mm diameter and above and the joints shall be neatly grinded and finished without any undulations.
The cost of welding shall include surface preparation, suitable branded welding rod, hire charges for suitable capacity of portable welding machine with suitable electric power generator, Gas cutting equipments with all accessories, labour charges for skilled welder and helper including providing inside lining/epoxy coating as per IS 13620-1993 and outside coating with cement mortar of 20mm thick as per IS 1916-1989 & IS 7322-1985 and all other incidental charges etc complete.

Lowering the following size of MS encasing pipe by using Contractor’s crane and machineries and jointing MS pipes by welding, across the National Highways/State Highways/ Railways/Canal crossing etc and driving the horizontal bore by pushing / jacking method (trenchless technology method) using contractor’s machineries such as cranes, jacks, jacking materials, generator, welding machineries, compressor, jack hammer and other equipments etc. without interfering and causing any hindrance to the movement of traffic or any other vehicles, without any disturbances to the railway/road/canal formation etc. including bailing / pumping of water where ever necessary without affecting any installation like water supply pipeline/telephone cable, electric cables etc. passing nearby area and scooping the earth inside the pipes and pit and depositing the surplus earth in a convenient place and leveling the site after completion of entire work as directed by TWAD Engineers. The rate includes the cost of driving pit, thrust bed/wall and receiving pit to the depth of om to 5m excluding the cost of MS pipes.
