SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF OLD UNSERVICEABLE HPSV STREET / SECURITY LIGHTS WITH ENERGY EFFICIENT LED LIGHT FITTING ALONGWITH CONTROLLER PANEL AND ALLIED/CONNECTED WORKS IN EXPLOSIVE AREA AT NAD KARWAR

Taking down carefully old defective LT UG cables of any size including cable protection pre cast concrete cover / bricks from the trenches and keeping aside for reuse/disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT underground XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded,armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross-sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) of 1988 laid in trenches/wall/floors/ducts etc fixed with saddle and clamps or passing through pipes complete with cable and connection with proper thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers all as specified and directed. (Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning and PCC cover for cable protection will be measured & paid for seperately)

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying/taking out cable and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material/soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread dry river sand in trenches for cable cushioning all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I. Note:- Punned thickness of sand only will be measured & paid

Supply and laying un-reinforced pre-cast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying galvanised iron tubing, light grade of size 40 mm dia with all fittings as in cable protection, laid in trenches, including taking down existing unserviceable GI pipes & its connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs for contactor MNX-40, 3 Pole, 415 volt coil voltage 230 volt complete as in street light timer assembly including removing old unserviceable contactor all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : L&T/Siemens/ABB/GE/ Schneider or equivalent.

Supply and fix in repairs for digital weekly programmable time switch for controlling street lights Single Phase 230 volt complete of capacity 15/16 Amp of Make :- Havells/ L&T/Siemens or as approved by GE.

Supply and fix in repairs FRP cable looping boxes of size 300 mm x 200 mm x 105 mm with TPN aluminium busbar and MCB SP 6 Amp- 01 No, 10 KA breaking capacity, C curve series, factory made with PVC sheet including heavy duty connector for connection of 4 core cable & fixed to pole with suitable size flat iron clamp, nuts & bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Sintex/National or as approved by GE

Supply & fix in repair PVC insulated and sheathed copper multistranded cable three core 2.5 sqmm, heavy duty through or on pole connecting to cable looping box of street light fitting all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repair two way heavy duty PVC connector suitable for 10 or 16 Sqmm cable connection in looping box complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair aluminium thimble/lugs of size 10 to 25 Sqmm for cable connection as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old surface by scraping down old peeled off paint using sand paper, removing dirt/dust from steel tubular pole and painting to steel tubular pole (9 mtr long) including street light bracket with applying two coats of synthetic aluminium paint including marking the pole number etc complete all as specified and directed.The job should also include whitewashing of the PCC foundation of the poles.

Earthing complete with galvanized cast iron earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to using galvanised iron strip 25×4mm by means of bolts, nuts washers and check nuts of steel/GI duly protected with 15mm bore light grade pipe upto main board, 20mm bore watering pipe light grade with CI/MS funnel and wire mesh including excavation, earth work in any type of soil and removing the surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr, char coal dust and common salt in adequate qty all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 having pit and cover in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x6mm grouted in PCC pit for PCC cover, funnel with wire mesh complete and all as specified. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type CI chamber, funnel with GI medium grade watering pipe 15mm bore, RCC cover slabs 50mm thick with 8mm dia CTD bars @ 140mm c/c both ways etc complete.

S&F in replacement of old/unserviceable HPSV lights with 90 watt LED roadway luminarie, made up of pressure die cast housing with toughned glass and individual LEDs with secondary optics and IP66 protection with high power LEDs as light source and HF electronic driver of 90W capacity including making necessary connection & taking down old unsv fitting complete all as specified and directed.
