A. Dismentling of Existing Structure

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 202. b)Cement Concrete

Labour for dismantling all members of the timber bridge (excluding piles) with necessary scaffolding, jati bamboos, jumper ropes etc, complete and stacking them at suitable places as directed (all members will be under custody of the contractor till taken over by the department)

B. Bridge Proper a) Foundation

Excavation for Structures (Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material. 'I. Ordinary soil, A. Manual Means '(i) upto 3 m depth

Bored cast-in-situ M35 grade R.C.C. pile excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead upto 1000 m. (Pile diameter-1000 mm)

Cement concrete for reinforced concrete in pile cap complete as per drawing and Technical Specification. Including steel shuttering formwork, A. RCC Grade M20 (i) Using concrete mixer.

Providing and laying of PCC leveling course 100mm thick below the pile cap as per drawing and technical specifications of MORTH section 1100 &1700.

Reinforcement in Foundation: Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated TMT bar reinforcement in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications (c) With other make ISI marked TMT rebar

b)Sub-Structure

Plain/Reinforced cement concrete, in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification and steel shuttering formwork . 1500,1700,2200. (A) With Crushed Stone. F.RCC grade M-25 (p)Height upto 5.0 M Case (I) Using concrete mixer.

Supplying fitting and placing TMT bar reinforcement (Fe415) in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1002, 1005, 1010 & 1202. (b) With other make ISI marked TMT rebar

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level elastomeric bearing conforming to IRC: 83 (Part-II) section IX and clause 2005 of MoRTH specifications complete including all accessories as per drawing and Technical Specifications.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7

c)Superstructure

Furnishing and placing reinforced/prestressed cement concrete in superstructure as per drawing and technical specification including steel shuttering form……. (A) With Crushed stones, (B) RCC M-25 (using concrete mixer) (II) For T-beam & Slab. (II) Height upto 5.0 M

Supplying, fitting and placing TMT (Fe-500 D) reinforcement bar . (From Primary Producer: TATA/SAIL/Esser Steel/ Jindal steel/Shyam steel/RINL) in superstructure complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 1002, 1010 and 1202

Providing and laying Cement concrete wearing coat M-30 grade including reinforcement complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications

Construction of R.C.C. railing of M 25 grade in cast-in-situ with 20 mm nominal size aggregate, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical railing post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre-to-centre spacing between vertical posts not to exceed 2000 mm as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 800, 900 and 1208.3

Drainage spouts complete as per approved drawing and technical specification clause 1209.

Strip Seal Expansion Joint (Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70 mm, complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer/supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instruction for installation).

C. Approaches

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable materials to beused or auctioned up to lead of 1000metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness. Embankment Construction with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits (Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirment of table 300-2 ( including compensation of earth.)( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.)

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders (Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table (300-2) ( including compensation of earth.)(a), ( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (i)Private land

(Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density,complete as per cl. 401( with an initial lead of 5 Km.)( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (ii) For grading II Material

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.

Providing and laying interlocking concrete block pavement with M40 grade grade of concrete blocks having thickness 80mm as per technical specification clause 1504 complete including carriage a) Including Edge block/ Edge restraints

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801 600mm equilateral triangle
