Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and not exceeding 1.50m depth for foundation, for laying of pipes/cables/poles etc., and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer as in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spreading natural river sand of approved quality for cushioning of cable laid in trenches including compacting and leveling complete all as specified and as directed Note: Punned thickness will only be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV Type 1, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid flat adjacent to each other, perpendicular to cable in trenches for protection of cable complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning 1100 volts grade, 3.5Core 120Sqmm LT XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed as per IS-7098 (Part-I), 1988 galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty, electric cables, with multistranded aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ passing through pipe/duct/road crossing or fixed on poles, walls with suitable size clamps made out of mild steel flat iron including jointing material such as crimping type lugs, brass cable glands, heavy duty double compression type etc., including disconnecting and taking down unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:- Note: Earthwork Excavation, sand cushioning, GI pipe and cable protection will be measured and paid separately.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning 11000 volts grade, Earthed, HT XLPE insulated, insulation screened with extruded semi-conducting compound in combination with copper tape cores laid up, PVC inner sheath with fillers, galvanized steel flat strip armoured, heavy duty, electric cables, with multistranded aluminium conductor, conductor screen with extruded semi conducting compound and overall PVC sheathed cable as per IS-7098 (Part-2) 1988 with latest amendments, laid in trenches/ passing through pipe/duct/road crossing or fixed on poles, walls with suitable size clamps made out of mild steel flat iron including jointing material such as crimping type lugs, brass cable glands, heavy duty double compression type etc., including disconnecting and taking down unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:- Note: Earthwork Excavation, sand cushioning, GI pipe and cable protection will be measured and paid separately.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI strip 25x4mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Note 1: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 422 of SSR Part-II.

Note 2: Earthing lead beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.

Checking of APFC panels/capacitors bank panels, servicing of the same, cleaning of the switch gears, busbars with CTC to remove the carbon deposits, checking the connections, functioning of the components such as capacitors, contactors, switch gears etc., disconnecting and removing of burnt out cable end portions, crimping with new suitable lugs, removing of burnt out thyristors reconnecting back and testing complete for maintaining efficient power factor at the sub station all as directed. Note: Inspection of APFC panel shall be carried by the representative of OEMs of L&T/Neptune/Epcos only.

S&F, LT automatic power factor shunt capacitors, All Poly Propylene (APP) box type, heavy duty, rectangular in shape, conform to IEC 831-1 with total losses not more than 0.25W/KVAR for 3 phase, 440 Volts, 50 Hz system in the power factor capacitor panel board with suitable fixing arrangement including connection with suitable copper cables and testing including taking down the unserviceable power factor capacitors of different capacities from the capacitor panel board complete all as specified and directed.
