PROVN OF WORK SERVICES FOR CONVERSION OF OH LT LINE TO UG CABLE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50m wide and not exc. 1.50m in depth, getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 250mm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cable (below, above and around the UG cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spread thickness and consilidated (punned) upto 180 mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For the purpose of payment, punned thickness of sand cushioning only shall be measured and paid for.

S&F for sub-class 'B' bricks, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion laid for UG cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cable laying in trenches/passing through pipe/on wall of XLPE insulated, heavy duty, galvanished steel strip or wire armoured electric LT cable with stranded aluminium conductor for 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 150 sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Rate of the saddle, clamp, lugs of different size as required and cable gland for fixing of cable on wall is to be deemed included in quoting rate.

S&F for cable junction box of size 200x160x98mm, made out of thermoplastic, having IP-65 protection for outdoor installation fixed with 4 way bakelite cable terminals including 03 Nos polymide gland with check nut (M-32 -02 No & M-25 -01 No) fixed on poles with aluminium clamps of size 25x3 mm, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. including taking out of old unserviceable cable junction box complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25m below ground level connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earthing lead means of nut, bolts and washers made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 40mm dia GI pipe, "light grade" for protection of earth lead and connected to test point or as directed including PCC Pit in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and RCC Cover of size 450x450x50mm in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) rein-forced with and including 8.0mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways, GI wire mesh, funnel, galvanised iron watering pipe 20mm bore (dia), medium grade, including necessary excavation in soft/loose soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil upto a distance of 50m and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 5 of MES Schedule Part-I and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Earthing shall be tested and the result must be less than 1 Ohm will be accepted. (b) Rectification cost upto less than 1 Ohm shall be beared by the contractor

S&F of cubical housing cabinet type LT panel board OUT door type, platform mounted factory made, of adequate size, totally enclosed dust and vermin proof openable from both front and rear side made out of 14 SWG (3.15mm) thick CRCA MS sheet of overall and built upon suitable size angle iron frame work, having front and rear hinged doors, Gl earthing strips at rear side, bottom detachable gland plate complete with suitable size zinc plated and passivated nut, bolts, spring and washers. The cabinet and all members should be chemically treated with MSR solution for anticorrosive treatment and apply powder coated paint (RAL-7032). The panel should be suitable for 415 volts, 50Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system and internal connection should be provided with aluminium strips of suitable size and necessary foundation work comprising with the followings:-

Labour only for horizontal boring for passing protection pipe up to 80mm bore, under road/foot path, not exceeding 10m in a single length complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F galvanised iron pipe of size 80mm bore (dia) 'light grade' for protection of UG cable, laid in floors/ road crossing, fixing to pole with mild steel clamps, nuts, bolts, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 17 here-in-before but of size 50mm bore, 'light grade'.

S&F straight through cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable of 1100 volts grade, heavy duty with PVC XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor, nominal cross-sectional area 50 Sq.mm to 150 Sq.mm, 3 and half / 4 core and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for road complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in coping and footing for poles, etc. including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling concrete poles/struts of any size including demolition of cement concrete (as/if required) and made good to disturbed ground and the pole is deposited to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling cross arms of M.S. channels or angle sections etc. complete and setting aside for re-use within 50m complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fixing, grouting and painting HT/LT cable route indicator made up to factory made precast RCC slab of size length 15 inch (38.1 cm), width 6 inch (15.24 cm) and height 4 feet (121.92 cm) duly engrave as PH-I BK-II with red colour and engrave as IACCS with yellow colour and also size of cable and grouting on the route of Ht/LT cable completion complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Unit rate of item includes excavation, PCC foundationfor erection of route indicator. (ii) Slab of route indicate to be provided with min 4 Nos x 8mm diameters TMT bars along length of slab with 7 Nos. cross bar 6mm dia in reinforcement with shuttering. (iii) Route indicator RCC slab to painting with two coats of red/blue colour synthetic enamel paint over on one coat of white primer base all specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. NOTE :- The contract sum shall be derived by deducting the amount shown in Schedule of Credit attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
