Dismantling/uprooting of LT unserviceable pre-stressed concrete/steel poles of any size and shape and including taking out dismantled portion of poles embeded in ground after necessary demolition of concrete foundation and making good disturbed surfaces, pit including surrounding ground surface properly (including disposal there of) to plant the new pole in PCC complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- PCC and pole replacement will be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc., and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and/or unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling LT Stay assembly, of any size and unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed. a) Unserviceable Stay assembly shall be taken off/dismantled at Ground Level and making good disturbed ground surface. b) Earthwork for demolition of cement concrete shall be measured and paid separately under relevant Items of this Schedule.

Dismantling of ACSR conductors or disturbed span including line spacer and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling earth wire of any size/dia or copper conductor, guarding cradle or disturbed span and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and removing unserviceable materials from the Site(s) complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling insulators, any type, any size and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and/or unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches n. exc 1.5m wide and not e. 1.5m in depth for foundation of poles, laying UG cables, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soft / loose soil complete as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

M&L cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2, (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation of poles, stays, etc including form work as required/ordered complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping of poles, padestal, etc including necessary form work etc complete as specified and directed.

M & L for Prestressed concrete pole, 9.0 metreslong, 102mm x 152mm at top and 102mm x 289mm at bottom,class 10 complete all as specefied and directed.

M&L Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections, including nuts, bots, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat (red oxide, zine chrome primer), one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint including preparation of surfaces complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable cross arm, MS Channel, angle section obtained from item No 2 here-in-before as ordered and inclusive of one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of old steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable pin type porcelain, vitreous, (white/brown or green) insulator for 1100 volts grade of any type obtained from item No 6 here-in-before.

S&F shackle type, porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps of size 31 x 3 mm, 12 mm dia insulator bolts, nuts and washers for working pressure 1100 volts of size 75 mm height, 90 mm dia complete as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 17 here in before, but strap & insulator bolt size 31x5 mm & 14 mm dia with appropriate size nuts and washers respectively for working pressure 1100 V of size 100 mm height and 115 mm dia complete all as directed

Fixing only serviceable shackle type porcelain, vitreous (white / brown or green) insulator of any size and shape for 1100 Volts grade obtained from item No 17 here-in-before.

M&L Stay assembly for LT complete with accessories as shown in Electrical plate No. 1 of MES schedule Part- I, 16 mm dia stay rod, 7/3.15 mm galvanised stay strand complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Loop insulator, stay clamps, excavation/ earthwork and cement concrete shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule).

S&F loop type insulators vitreous porcelain white / brown or green small size with overall dimensions 65x90 mm clearance of hole 16 mm dia complete as specified and directed.

M&L aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of sizes on LT poles including straining, binding with insulators with aluminium binding wire with insulator as in OH conductor, providing PVC sleeves for jumpers complete all specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable ACSR conductors shall be obtained from item No. 4 here-in-before by re-straining, tightening of ACSR conductors of any size/type on LT poles including necessary new aluminium binding wire for fixing with insulator/PVC sleeves for jumper etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC fibre separator for LT line 1100 volt OH conductor 3/4 wire system for maintaining horizontal spacing of conductor complete with nut & bolt minimum two nos in a span complete as specified and directed.

M&L galvanised steel continuous earth wire 3.15 mm or 4 mm dia complete as specified and directed.

M&L cradles, hexagonal / rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 mm or 4 mm dia complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable GI wire 3.15 mm or 4 mm dia material obtained from item No 5 here-in-before complete all as specified and directed.

Trimming of tree branches around the LT /HT OH conductor, pole & stay (not less than 3 metre) to clear the over head lines including cleaning of birdnest, creepers that are coming from tree branches over poles etc including on poles and stays etc complete as required including removing and disposed off from the site as directed. Note : The quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of provision of periodically cleaning/cutting etc including disposal there-off and 'span' will be measured & paid only once in entire contract period.

Removing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, etc climbing up towards the poles and stay including cleaning bottom surface area of pole & stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth and inside the fencing of out door installations all as required and directed. Note : The quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of provision of periodically cleaning/cutting etc including disposal there-off and 'area' will be measured & paid only once in entire contract period.

M & L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25m deep bellow ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5m deep below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron strip of 32 x 6mm earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, washers of galvanised steel earth strip protected by and including GI pipe 40mm dia bore (light grade) and conncted to main test point as directed and including concrete pit in PCC(1:3:6)type C-1 precast RCC(1:1.5:3)type A-1 cover slab 54 x 5 cm reinforced with 4mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm c/c both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab funnel wire mens 20mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for watering charcoal and salt in altemate layers, necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing on completion including taking down the existing unserviceable earthing and stacking the retrieved serviceable/un-serviceable material separately complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6 mm thick buried directly in ground preferably vertically in ground with top edge not less than 1.25 mtr deep below normal ground level connected with and including galvanised iron wire 4 mm dia as earthing lead by means of nuts bolts and washers of galvanized iron protected by 15mm dia (medium grade) GI tubing, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore GI tubing (light grade) watering pipe , including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 350x350x50mm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm c/c in both ways and 10mm dia MS handle (01 No) of suitable size, charcoal and salt in alternate layers, necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil all as shown in Electric plate No. 3 of SSR part-I and testing on completion including taking down existing unserviceable earthing and stacking the retrieved serviceable/un-serviceable material separately complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 3.15mm thick burried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, filling in alternate layer and electrode connections by using copper strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of copper and protected by light grade 40 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board, and GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1: 2: 4 type C2 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr all as specified and as shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I, all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The earth resistant value shall be less than 5 Ohm irrespective to seasons and any unforseen condition. 2. Earthing should be free from stone.

Taking down the under mentioned existing old/unserviceable fittings/fixtures from LT panel /APFC Panel boards after carefully disconnecting the electric connection and replace the same in position with new one to suite/match with the existing for smooth and un-interupted functioning all as specified and as directed :-

M&L for preparation of old painted surface above the PCC coping of steel tubular LT pole of upto 09.00 metre length including MS clamps ,cable protection pipe bracket fitted with street light fittings etc by scraping with steel wire brush and applying two coats, of aluminium paint to external surface of poles MS cross arms MS clamp, cable protection pipe etc to give even shade including Zebra colour of painting upto 1.5 mtr height from/above the top of coping/ bottom of pole as per site condition and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Zebra colour will be applied by synthetic enamel paint of black/yellow colour as approved in alternate layer of 30 cm height of each layer.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces and removing dust and other deposited material by scraping from LT PCC poles of upto 09.00 metre length, cross arms brckets and applying 2 coats of aluminium paint to all steel surfaces, including MS clamps ,cable protection pipe bracket fitted of street light fittings etc including Zebra colour of painting upto 1.5 mtr height from/above the top of coping/ bottom of pole as per site condition and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Zebra colour will be applied by synthetic enamel paint of black/yellow colour as approved in alternate layer of 30 cm height of each layer.

Taking out old / unserviceable under ground LT cables and connections including pipes, bricks or precast concrete cable cover etc of any from trenches/walls/poles of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site all as specified and directed.

M & L for 40 to 50 mm thick roughly hammer stone slab 25 to 30 cm wide & not less thean 60 cm long laid down in trenches connecting to each other with gaps between adjacent slab not exceessing 10 mm over under ground cable for protection complete all as directed at site.

Relaying of serviceable stone slab breadth wise in trenches for UG cable protection as directed.

S&F sand cushioning with clean (Tibba) sand in trenches for cable protection of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for galvanised steel tube 50mm bore (light grade) fixed to pole/wall/floor for cable protection pipe including clamp of MS flat of size 50x5mm and nut, bolt including washers of size 50x12mm for clamping of cable protection pipe with wall/pole where required complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing old/serviceable steel tubing and connection in new or old position obtain from item no 45 here-in-before.

M&L for taking down existing damaged panel from the existing position,including preparation of surface and painting synthetic enamled paint as per existing ,after repair and replacement of existing old damaged door sheets(front and rear ) with existing guage and repair to damaged portion and refixing it its position with suitable frame, foundation, channel, iron welding work of bolts, nuts, etc. all as directed.
