Civil Works

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge: All kind of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth,sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth,consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. All kinds of soil

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). Only black aggregatec of Dala will be allowed to be used in concrete work.

Cement concrete 1:1.50:3 (1 cement : 1.50 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 10, 20 & 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete.Note-Compaction shall be done with needle vibrator and screed vibrator. The panel shall be made with C-Channel of the full height of concrete to be laid and floater mahine will be applied there upon and proper texture will be made with brooming if required. Initially Mechanically cutting of dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness shall have to cut. Subsequently groove cutting as per dummy / construction/expansion joints will be done 10mm width x 50mm deep as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and Noting extra shall be paid for performing these activity. Note: Ajax will not be allowed for concrete work at any cost. For curing suitable curing compound shall have to be used / sprayed. Only black aggregatec of Dala will be allowed to be used in concrete work.

Cleaning & filling dummy/longitudinal/transverse Joints in existing PQC with polysulphide joint sealing compound (confirming to grade BS:5212, Part-I, 1990 or IS:11433-1995) of approved make Dr. Fixit/Sika/Fosroc/Clean coat/Choksey/STP or equivalent including painting the sides of slab with approved primer and filling the groove 10mm width x 25mm deep including inserting the backer rod of appropriate dia of approved make to receive the specified sealing compound, providing and applying bond breaking tape and masking tape on top edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant has been applied and tooled, all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge Note: This work shall be carried out through authorized or experienced applicator of M/s CHOKSY/SIKA/ PIDILITE /STP/Clean Coat etc.

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level. Cement mortar 1 :4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing IS: 12817 marked stainless steel butt hinges (heavy weight) with stainless steel screws etc. complete: 125x64x2.5 mm.

Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with lSi, IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium sliding door bolts, lSI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868), transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with nuts and screws etc. complete : 300x16 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, lSI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 200x10 mm

Providing and fixing aluminium handles, lSI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 125mm

Providing and fixing aluminium hanging floor door stopper, lSI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour and shade, with necessary screws etc. complete. Twin rubber stopper

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Cement concrete flooring 1 :2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete. 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate.

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix : 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm) with electric-powered handheld airless sprayers machine i/c cleaning, sand papering, putty and repair of any holes/gaps/patches/cracks to provide smooth finish with satisfaction of Engg-In-Charge.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : Old work (One or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm) with electric-powered handheld airless sprayers machine i/c cleaning, sand papering, putty and repair of any holes/gaps/patches/cracks to provide smooth finish with satisfaction of Engg-In-Charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work with electric-powered handheld airless sprayers machine i/c cleaning, sand papering, metalic putty and repair of any holes/gaps/patches/cracks to provide smooth finish with satisfaction of Engg-In-Charge.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. One coat with electric-powered handheld airless sprayers machine i/c cleaning, sand papering, putty and repair of any holes/gaps/patches/cracks to provide smooth finish with satisfaction of Engg-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq. mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For fixed portion Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in panelling fixed in aluminum doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge. Pre-laminated particle board with decorative lamination on both sides

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): With float glass panes of 5 mm thickness (weight not less than 12.50 kg/sqm)

Deduct for taking away of M.S Angle & G.I concertina coil, barbed wire, staples and G.I. clips etc. and the like received from dismantling. The material so received shall be the property of contractor after dismantling duly weighed/ measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his authorised representative all complete.
