Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reasons

The rates of all items appeared in Bill of Quantities are inclusive of all leads and lifts

Royalty Charges will be Deducted in every bill of contract as per rules

Only the relevant document needs to be uploaded. unnecessary documents or any kind of fake documents will lead to rejection of the tender

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of the contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for the delay, as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

Registration Certificate (P.W.D License Class-4 & above)

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount 5% of the Contract price

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing the e-procurement portal

Item for which no rates or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed & shall be deemed covered by the other rates & prices in the bill of quantities

LOC/Letter of Credit should be in the prescribed format-2 if not, then the tender will not be accepted

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2025-26 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section
