REPAIRS TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT OF ROOFS OF CERTAIN BUILDINGS UNDER AGE BR I AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Notes : (i) The work consists of 01 job as under:- JOB (A) : TPP 23-24 Ser No. 13 (ii) Please refer schedule 'A' notes before quoting the tender. (iii) Amount of Schedule of Credit shall be deducted off line by the department. ITEMS FOR JOB 'A'

Note:- The Unit Rate quoted in r/o Ser item No 1.02 to 1.37 are deemed to include for the following and nothing extra will be paid for these works: 1. Supplying, erecting and use of scaffolding upto required height (max 25 to 30m) or upto 8th floor height with necessary H-frames, pipes, couplers, buckles, bracing, top platform with support railing at top etc. at all levels of building including carriage of the materials to the location, erecting, fixing the scaffolding and dismembering the same after working and taking away the scaffolding materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2. Supplying, erecting & use of temporary bamboo scaffolding around the building as required. The scaffolding is to be secured properly in position by bracings, ties clamps, etc. complete including providing and erecting working platform at all heights as required, including removal after completion of work all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any description and in any position including PCC padding any thickness and cleaning, wire brushing, watering & removal of debris outside MOD complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work

Taking down cement plaster of any description incl raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 20 mm thick polymer modified ready mix cement based plaster on external surfaces incl mix with WPC @ 3% by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: WPC shall be measured & paid separately as supply only.

M&L Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight) complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floors by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with waters to remove dusts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brushing neat cement slurry with 3kg/sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete padding laid to required slope incl finishing the concrete surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in cement mortar (1:4) for laying roof finish as padding finished with WPC 3% by weight of total cement, complete all as specified and directed NOTE :- Integral WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L water proofing treatment of roof consisting as under:- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384:1986 @ 0.40 litre/sqm including preparation of roof surfaces (b) A layer of 3mm thick APP polymeric membrane of weight not less than 3.5 kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric, duly sealed at over laps & joints with end laps of the 10cm and side over laps of 7.5cm by flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for torching on joints (n exc 10cm) of old APP membrane sheet incl cleaning, brushing at joints and necessary repairs (incl suitable/items T&P/Gas cylinder) as required ( also in small lengths) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair/replacement khurra on RCC roof at RWP (PVC/CI etc) joints incl cleaning, brushing etc and finishing with bitumen/PCC padding/APP membrane as required. Khurra of size 450x450mm down from existing roof slab (40mm) at RWP joint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.10 kg/sqm membrane surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 20mm dia GI Tubing and connection including, cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing & connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store of 25mm or 32mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing & connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store of 40mm or 50mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 20mm bore tubes 'medium grade' galvanised with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 25mm bore tubes 'medium grade' galvanised with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 32mm bore GI Tubing medium grade fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 40mm bore GI Tubing medium grade fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 50mm bore GI Tubing medium grade fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions 20 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions 25 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions 32 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for new or old surfaces of exterior wall decorating and water proofing treatment to wall surface by wire brushing in order to remove dust, dirt, loose particles, laitance. Thereafter wash the surface with clan water & allow to dry. Fill visible cracks/ joints by chemistic crack seal caulking compound & allow to dry for 24 hours. Apply a primer coat of chemistic prime M Seal (water base primer) and allow to dry for 6 hours. Thereafter apply 02 coats of chemistik PDS-50 (WB high build anti caronatin coating cum waterproofing) & shade by brush at the interval of 08 hours between the coat and allow to dry to match the existing shade including necessary scaffolding for any height, covering etc complete all as per specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing RCC/PCC water tank tank of any size and any dia of any description and in any position including cleaning, wire brushing, watering & removal of debris outside MOD complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying jacketing around columns with Micro concrete (Molith-MC) M30 including all lifts, shuttering, drilling holes and fixing shear anchor complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.(Rates including jacketing, formwork and micro concrete) all as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Framed brackets of angles, I section, beams or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, etc.. n exc 10 kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 (Brackets over 10 kg each to be measured under 'Structural Steel') complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment Fe-410-00(gde E-250) Quality A complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of steel or iron surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, hoisting and fixing of rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks 1000 litres capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I incl connecting the overflow drain out, inlet and out pipes, tank nipple, elbow, bend, unions, sockets, incl dia ball brass valve float valve etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of water tank removing to store exc 500ltr but n exc 1000ltr complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bitumenous compound as approved by Engineer-in-charge for water proofing and caulking to fill gap/ joint of PCC tiles / Terazzzo tiles/ any type/size of tiles in roof area including surface preparation and removal of loose particles with wire brush complete all as specified and directed.
